COED’s Most Anticipated Movies of 2010 hailed the film adaptation of “Arrested Development” as the most eagerly awaited release for this past year. So, what makes us want to see a movie? It could be our admiration for certain actors or directors, or it could be as simple as a bad-ass poster or tagline. Whatever the case may be, we’ve combed Variety’s Film Release Chart for the movies releasing in 2011 that could be on your “Best Of” list come this time next year. Tron Legacy dominated the competition at the box office last weekend pulling in $44 mil with a healthy per screen average of around $13k. Stealing the #2 spot was mixed live action animation adaptation Yogi bear with $16 mil. How Do You Know a romcom is a bomb? When it comes in 8th with $7 mil on a $120 mil budget. This week’s entries feature Rooster Cogburn (greatest name ever), small motherf’ers, big ol’ Jack Black, and a Hollywood bad boy. Santa’s comin’, so make with the reading already.

Twilight Gaga Poo Poo Total Eclipse of My Fart won the box office over the holiday weekend. Last Airbender surprised a bunch of peeps, mostly those giving it a 4% fresh rating on RottenTomatoes.com. This weekend’s entries feature producers/editors, moon thieves, fake babies, nukes, terrorist farmers, pink eye victims, The Last Airhead, and the world’s angriest man. Previews go now!

Look, I understand why people are sick of hearing Judd Apatow’s name every second. Nonetheless, check the record: Knocked Up was almost perfect (too long, and the DVD extended it!), Superbad was a riot for the most part and Walk Hard will at least be a great watch with funny cameos.
