The scenario’s all too familiar, you’re sitting on your couch, out-of-shape, covered in food crumbs watching Conan, Jimmy, SportsCenter or… E! News… and you see a guy who’s got it all. By now you’ve probably seen the trailers for The Change-Up starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman, directed by the guy who helmed Wedding Crashers and written by the dude who penned The Hangover. The promos hail the film as the first R-rated body swap comedy of its kind. At first, we were skeptical – body swap flicks have lost their luster and novelty since becoming its own genre. But, this one looks like it could be the balls. Not to mention it also stars Olivia Wilde and everyone’s favorite wife and mother, Leslie Mann. Thanks to Universal Pictures, we’re able to give you the opportunity to attend an advanced screening. Watch the trailer and find out how to RSVP after the jump.

Smokin’ Hot Stars Attend the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty Costume Institute Gala [150 PHOTOS]

Just who in the holy hellscape is Alexander McQueen? Well, he was a British fashion designer who was chief designer at Givenchy before founding his own label. He won 4 British Designer of the Year awards as well as International Designer of the Year. Unfortunately, he passed in February 2010. But, his legacy still lives on as evidenced by the startling turnout of A-list celebrities at his Savage Beauty Costume Institute Gala held at the Met last night. We say, “startling” because we don’t even see this kind of top notch celebrity attendance at the Super Bowl, Grammys, Oscars, and Emmys combined. Don’t believe us? The proof’s in the pictures, my man. Check ‘em out after the jump!

8 Great Animated Sitcoms That Should’ve Lasted Longer Than One Season

8 Great Animated Sitcoms That Should’ve Lasted Longer Than One Season

There was once a time when animated sitcoms were all the rage in the wake of shows like The Simpsons and King of the Hill. It seemed like every network threw their hat into the ring at some point. However, many of these shows were either mega ratings bombs or were canned for not pulling in Simpsons-esque numbers. As a result, these series were canceled after their first season, several before their entire run had finished. These are a few of the unlucky ones that never found their place on network television, though most of them enjoy relatively decent success on cable and DVD. See our top 8 picks after the jump!

Looking at this year’s tentative slate of box office hopefuls, you might think Hollywood is unoriginal. Even with with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replacing Megan Fox, Transformers 3 has no chance of erasing the soiled diaper that was Revenge of the Fallen.
