The 2010 Cannes Film Festival kicks off tomorrow. The annual festival is not only well known for premiering some of the biggest blockbusters of the year, but also awesome A-list Hollywood appearances. So to get in on the celebrity-packed action, we’ve put together our own little independent shindig we’d like to call the Festival de Cans (get it?), featuring the sexiest French models and actresses for your viewing pleasure.

By far my least favorite thing about my most favorite movie of 2009 was the casting of Eli Roth in the role of the “Bear Jew”. But despite his severe shortcomings as an actor, his direction of the Nazi propaganda short “Nation’s Pride” almost makes up for his awkward inclusion in Quentin Tarantino’s masterful Inglorious Basterds. Sadly, if Roth is taking cue from the QT school of acting, we probably haven’t seen the last…

According to Joblo.com, Quentin Tarantino announced at this year’s Canne Film Festival that his next film will be Inglorious Bastards, due to premier at Cannes in 2009. The film, which has been rumored about for over five years, is a war movie, inspired by 1977 Italian film Quel maledetto treno blindato, by director Enzo G. Castellari.
