Yesterday Aimee Louise Sword, the woman accused of tracking down her biological son on the internet and raping him, was sentenced to 9 years in prison. Law & Order: SVU must be absolutely giddy to get this story out of the front pages and into the script for their 97th season premiere. Because nothing gets people sitting in front of their TV like a good old-fashioned, heart-warming, family story that guarantees the victim will definitely grow up to be a serial killer. Let’s be honest, regular old non-biologically related teachers taking advantage of male students just isn’t cutting edge anymore.
