What’s better than a regular flash mob? That’s right – a Hammer dance flash mob. This group of people strapped on gold Hammer pants and infiltrated a trendy Los Angeles clothing store to the great surprise of many a skinny-jeaned hipster. I guess this is the kind of awesome stuff that happens when everybody’s unemployed…

If you’re reading this, chance are good you’re high right now. But it may come as some surprise that 14-time US Olympic gold medalist swimmer, Michael Phelps – arguably the greatest Olympian of all-time – wait for it….smokes weed, too!!! Gasp!

Proof comes after this picture (above) got into the hands of British tabloid News of the World, who busily condemns Phelps’ “drug use” as a defamation of what it means to be a true athlete. The picture was taken at a party at the University of South Carolina on November 6, ‘08 while Phelps was there visiting his “secret” girlfriend, Jordan Matthews.

Says News of the World:

Our source revealed: “Michael came to visit Jordan but ended up just getting wasted every night.

“He arrived with a group of girls hanging all over him. Jaws hit the floor when he walked in. You don’t get many celebrities in Columbia, so when Phelps comes to your party it’s a very big deal.

“He didn’t know many people so you’d think he’d be a little shy. But he was loud, obnoxious and slamming beers from the get-go.

“Every girl wanted a piece of him and every guy wanted to be his best buddy. He couldn’t get enough of all the attention.”

Wait, Michael Phelps is a douchey party animal and college chicks wanna do him? No. WAY! That’s the g*ddamn craziest thing I’ve ever heard. Ever… But seriously, Phelps, WTF**K, dude? A lot of people still think smoking weed is as bad as chopping-off someone’s hand – or worse. So when you do it, DON’T LET PEOPLE TAKE YOUR F**KING PICTURE!

When she’s not fighting for the drunken Elephants in India the incomparable Paris Hilton shills for Rich Prosecco’s Champagne in a Can, which is exactly what it sounds like.

The campaign ad shows Hilton naked, covered in gold, in the Mojave Desert. That’s hot – literally.

Not much to report here, other than Champagne in a can has existed for a long time, even before Sofia Blanc de Blancs of the Coppola winery. Long live the original champagne in a can.

With colorful flags a-waving, there isn’t a more fruitful time than now to start thinking “Gay” for the 2008 Olympics.

Tyson Gay has been a middle-to-top-class sprinter in the 100m and 200m dash for the last few years – in 2005 he was the “4″ in the U.S. 200m 1-2-3-4 sweep – but the recent spring in his step has earned him Gold medals and World Records.

Gay, a 25-year-old American, got the Gold in both the 100m (9.85 seconds) and 200m (19.76 seconds) at the World Championships in Osaka, Japan – the first athlete to do so since Justin Gatlin in 2005.

His 19.76 in the 200m is edged out ever-so-slightly by the “world’s fastest man” himself, Michael Johnson, in 1996 (19.32).

Olympic hopeful? You bet your sweet ass.
