As you may know, we at COED have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model. But now the wait has come to an end. After hearing that the model would be first announced on tonight’s “Late Show with David Letterman”, we sent one of our editors over to the Ed Sullivan Theater during the filming to get the inside scoop.

And it turns out our hopes were correct; the 2009 SI Swimsuit Issue cover model is… Bar Refaeli! The 23-year-old Israeli model first appeared in the magazine in 2007. She was also voted second most likely to be on the cover by COED readers, after Brooklyn Decker. So, close on that one, but no cigar.

Congratulations, Bar – we’ll be ogling over your pictures for months to come. (Not that we haven’t been already…)

UPDATE: This has since been confirmed by CBS affiliate CBS2 News, after a billboard of her cover was spotted over Broadway. See the photo evidence here! The “Late Show” is aired on CBS.

UPDATE 2: Don’t forget: Bar Refaeli will be on the “Late Show with David Letterman” on Wednesday, Feb. 11th. Sports Illustrated’s 2009 Swimsuit Issue went on sale Tuesday, Feb. 10th, in all its glossy glory.

The Texas Longhorns destroyed the Texas A&M Aggies Thursday night and once again, Colt McCoy’s Girlfriend Rachel Glandorf destroyed us. As we broke back in October, this 21 year-old smokeshow runs track at Baylor and has become quite the camera magnet at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

It remains to be seen if Colt and his Longhorns will snag the Heisman and/or the National Championship, but if this sexy significant other adds any weight, McCoy is a shoe-in for both.  Hook ‘em Horns!

Last week we gave you the skinny on Colt McCoy’s sexy significant other Rachel Glandorf. We scoured the web for days on end, but the only pics we could uncover of this lovely lass were screen and head shots from her local TV gig and Baylor track and field team page.  Well fortunately for you, our friends at deadspin have found the goods we’ve all been looking for.  And I think it’s fair to say, Ms. Glandorf does a bikini good.

Open relationships are not just a thing of the past, something your parents tried out on the weekends back in the 70’s before STDs existed. They are alive and well today. And I’m here to explain some of the pros and cons of such a relationship for those of you who may be interested in giving it a try, or who want your friend to give it a try so you can get with his girlfriend that’s too hot for him.

I have a good friend, I’ll call her Sandy, who recently decided that open was the best kind of relationship, so all of my advice is the direct result of her actual experiences that have been rehashed to me. My friend’s trial run didn’t turn out so well, she and her boyfriend eventually broke up, but she insists that it wasn’t all bad and that she’d do it again given the opportunity.
