Football season kicks off soon – and with it comes the beloved American tradition of tailgating! And while other countries don’t exactly tailgate, they definitely gather in the town square for food, booze and football-inspired festivities. Even better, they look pretty damn sexy doing it! We have no clue what inspired this 32 year-old German imbecile to enter the polar bear enclosure during feeding time today at the Berlin Zoo.  We do however know it’s awesome to watch the zoo keepers attempt to rescue her.

When we last saw the former Mrs. Federline attempt a comeback, Britney and her belly were shamefully sprawled across the stage at the 2007 VMA’s. Fast-forward 14 months later and Brit-Brit is at it again.  This time she’s chosen Germany’s Bambi Awards to test the water.  Could there be a country more sympathetic to reinvention than Germany?  Like Frick & Frack.

So I just got an iPhone yesterday and it’s already been an enormous time-waster/pain in the ass. I think I got the pain in the ass part figured out, but that will only add to the time-wasting…Anyway, I avoided being up-sold at the AT&T store and walked out case-free. Let the Quarter-finals begin! Despite Switzerland’s inability to progress past the first round, the girls of the remaining Euro 2008 teams are the best of the best. Today’s matchup between Germany and Portugal will only leave you begging for more (babes, not soccer).

These are the second two pages of a German children’s book about sex, and where babies come from. But in America, we’ve managed to remove all the sex from “sex education.” So to see that in other countries, the parents tell their children the truth, and show them what actually happens–how babies are actually made–we in the US think it odd, at best.

At worst, we condemn them as irresponsible, godless and rude. And so our national sexual health–starting with the round-about explanations and books from which we learn, at a young age–has deteriorated to sickening climate of black or white ideas–purity or porn. (more…)
