I’ve seen some pretty good football plays in my day, but this has to be one of the best. In this Hall of Fame game between the Tennessee Titans and the Buffalo Bills, the Titans manage to pull off the best fake punt of all-time. You literally have to watch the whole video, slow-mo and all, just to double check that the ball didn’t disappear.

The holy grail of dating is to actually find a girl who’s hot but is still willing to go out with you.  And as you’ve already figured out, that’s really hard.  But even if you’re not as attractive or as suave as that friend who has so much sex you want to punch him, even if you “have no game,” there are a few ways to tip the scales in your favor.  These aren’t magic bullets.  They’re practical, actionable things that you can do to help you snag that gorgeous girl who it turns out has low enough self esteem to actually go for you. Despite the fact that I’ve been playing and reviewing video games for years, I seriously, seriously suck at baseball games. Watching me play MLB 2K9 would send any serious sports-game fan into an uncontrollable fit of rage from my complete and total lack of skills. And that’s why I like The BIGS 2.

Building on The BIGS franchise, The BIGS 2’s over-the-top, arcade-style game play can cover-up even the worst player’s half-assed attempt at seeming athletic. In this latest release, 2K has juiced-up the “Become a Legend” mode with a fuller story mode that picks up after the “Rookie Challenge” from The BIGS, allowing you to create your player and follow him through from the Mexican minors all the way through to the Hall of Fame.

On top of that, they’ve added Season Mode, with full MLB schedules, stat tracking and roster management, which allows you to keep your fantasy team and your real team in sync. And the awesomely amped arcade action, like Legendary Moves, Batter’s Wheelhouse and Big Slam will make you feel like A-Rod after a trip to the Dominican Republic.

The BIGS 2 is available now on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP and Wii

Whoever came up with this game was (is?) a damn genius. If you didn’t already know, it’s called “Suck and Blow”. And the object of the game is to pass paying cards from mouth-to-mouth without letting the card fall. But for the record, this game really shouldn’t be played unless it’s played by a gaggle of giggling girls in skimpy outfits, just sayin’…

If you like Guitar Hero and Rock Band then Rhythm Heaven for the recently-released Nintendo DSi is going to blow your damn mind. Known in Japan as Rhythm Tengoku Gold and in Europe as Rhythm Paradise, Rhythm Heaven is a musically inclined gamer’s dream, using taps, flicks, holds and slides with the stylus (or your finger) to perform a wide variety of mini-game “tasks,” such as filling up robots with fuel or playing ping pong, all done in-sync with the music. The classic first-person-shooter, id Software’s Wolfenstein 3D, is back and bad as hell… on the iPhone! I must say, it’s pretty F’ing awesome. Now, I understand that you might think it weird, at best, to play this game entirely on a touch screen – I did. But after a bit of good, ol’ fashioned Nazi-killing on my 3G, the smooth controls make game-play seamless. Plus, they give you four different options for controls, along with sensitivity adjustments. So no matter how you like to gun down some SS sons-of-bitches, you’ll do it with ease on this app. (more…)

Last month, we came across the David Lee Roth soundboard, which is by far the best soundboard on the Internet. But today, we’ve got something a whole lot better – the Diamond Dave “Assteroidz” game! The guys over at Shitbagz.com took the sounds from the Roth soundboard and added them into a sweet Asteroids-like game, where you shoot asteroids, Van Halen logos and Sammy Hagar heads with bullets that come out of Diamond Dave’s spread-eagle crotch. Simple, but the result is amazing.
