Are the seats sticking to your legs? Having to “adjust yourself” every three seconds because your board shorts have the ventilation capacity of a Ziplock freezer bag? Gentlemen the summer is upon us, and the same season that produces sweat stains and shaved chests for you, is the same one that brings out the best girls in life; The Girls of Summer.
These girls are the reason you stick it out through the sweater and Ugg boots months, just waiting for short dresses and bikinis to come pushing up through the earth like daises or your yard’s groundhog problem. They come in all shapes and sizes (skinny preferred), with different personalities and, well, assets. So how do you know who is who and just how to woo them? Read on and take notes…

The world is getting smaller. The combination of an increasingly rapid advancement of technology and the expansion of the global market has created a world in which…blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We’ve all heard this before, and quite frankly, it’s old news. The real story isn’t the world getting smaller, it’s the fact that the dating scene is getting bigger.
With the growing popularity of studying abroad and the numerous travel opportunities presented to students the chances of meeting your soul-mate are getting better. We’re no longer stuck scouring classes, the library, or a bar for potential hook-ups; given a couple of months overseas (or weeks in some cases) and a cursory understanding of a foreign language the number of places to meet the next Mr. or Mrs. Right are almost endless. The experts who have helped establish a global reliance on oil and wasted billions of dollars trying to turn corn into gas, have now turned their attention to nature’s biggest natural power generators. Volcanoes and hot springs could supply up to 25-percent of America’s power needs–and as fuel prices soar, Alaskan officials announced the exploration of the state’s volcanoes.
Companies are being invited to lease the rights to explore geothermal resources beneath Mount Spurr, a snowcapped 11,070-foot volcano that most recently erupted in 1992, showering much of Anchorage with volcanic ash. The state Division of Oil and Gas hopes the lease sale, due to go ahead in August, will be the first of many. It is also considering allowing exploration of the 4,134-foot Augustine Volcano, 171 miles southwest of Anchorage. (more…)

Cold winter days got you down?
Many college guys experience withdrawal (no pun intended) during winter break, since all the attractive, young snow bunnies are nowhere to be found. Even those who have no luck getting lucky during the school year can at least take solace in all the eye-candy on campus. Instead of quenching this thirst alone in front of your computer (or, even worse, at your old high school) go abroad.
Something happens to girls when they cross the border.
Good girls become bad; bad girls become worse; and everyone is making sure that they go home with a story. The question about traveling abroad is not if you’re going to get action but, rather, who it’s going to be with. You control your destiny, but follow these pointers. (more…)
