September 16th is Grito de Dolores aka Cry of Dolores aka Cry of Independence aka Mexican Independence Day. It’s THE most important national holiday observed in Mexico. While our sisters and brothers from south of the border celebrate the anniversary of their country’s separation from Spanish rule. We celebrate by honoring their hottest homegrown products.
