In an attempt to curb rampant prostitution, human trafficking or child exploitation taking place on Craigslist, the site will begin charging $10 to publish “erotic services” ads.
All the proceeds from these ho sales will be donated to charity and it will also allow state attorney’s to subpoena the telephone and credit card information required to list an ad.
Craigslist’s “erotic services” feature is used by over 40 million Americans every month but that number is expected to plummet as much as 80% with these new measures.
In July we assessed the quality of C-List’s women with The Ladies of Craigslist’s Casual Encounters which revealed an eclectic mix of ladies out to get some good, “no strings attached” sex–if you don’t count herpes as a string…Sure they might be tattered, scandalous, haggard and mildly damaged, but at least they’re honest.
