Last week, we went 4-3. Not pretty. The Spartans couldn’t capitalize on their momentum, the Dawgs barely edged the Gators, Penn State outlasted Illinois in a shoot-out, and it took Stanford three overtimes to upend USC (a game in which we predicted would be a tight one… just like your mother, Trebek). Clemson got their tails handed to them and the Badgers lost on another last minute desperation toss. What a kick to the d*ck. Btw, we completely left out then #8 K-State vs. #9 Oklahoma and for good reason. Wildcats got smoked 58-17. So, which games should you watch this week? On November 2nd, 1898, the “sport” of cheerleading started at the University of Minnesota when Johnny Campbell led the crowd in cheering on the football team. Today, we scoff at the idea of male cheerleaders but if you’ve ever been or known a male cheerleader or have ever seen “Fired Up“, you know their job can be pretty f’n sweet, more specifically when they do lifts. Last week, we managed to come out above .500 with our picks, going 4-3. We doubted our dudes at ASU and for that, we’re sorry. We were there, right in the thick of things. Like, ON the field. Yeah. The OK State – A&M game turned out be pretty awesome as did Clemson – FSU. Clemson’s looking like a contender right now. One game we didn’t feature that turned out to be legit was Kansas State – Miami. Could you imagine if there were no instant replay? Holy Lee Corso. It’s no surprise that we love cheerleaders: we even do a college cheerleader gallery every week for ya. However, we feel like we’re just not getting enough of their pictures out there. These girls are out there rain or shine trying to pump up the crowd [among other things], so you know that they’ve got phenomenal legs.
