This year’s Lollapalooza took place this past weekend (8/5-8/7). I had the opportunity to go in 2009 and it was covered in awesome sauce. Judging by this year’s pics, it looks like the lineup didn’t disappoint. Acts included Cee Lo Green, Eminem, Muse, Foo Fighters, OK Go, deadmau5, Coldplay, Kid Cudi, Arctic Monkeys, Fitz & The Tantrums, The Naked and Famous, Foster The People, Crystal Castles, Portugal The Man, Cage The Elphant, Two Door Cinema Club, Skylar Grey, The Pretty Reckless, Sam Adams, Tinie Tempah, Deftones, Ween, Nas, Girl Talk, Pretty Lights, and many more. We’ve curated the best of the best and packed them into this righteous photo gallery. Check out the hotties, hipsters, and hip hoppers after the jump.

With music-based video game franchises like Rock Band and Guitar Hero becoming more niche with their releases (Beatles, Aerosmith, Metallica, etc.) and titles like Michael Jackson: The Experience becoming more prevalent we thought we’d compile a list of other music acts that should make the leap to the digital domain, with some ideas about what kind of game they belong in. Read who made the final cut after the jump!

Has it been ten years already? It feels like just yesterday I was jamming out to Will Smith while hording guns, ammo and canned goods in preparation for Y2K. WTF? But looking back, the 00′s produced a ton of great music and luckily for us, Rolling Stone assembled a sweet team of artists, critics and industry insiders to recap the best of the best. Check out Rolling Stone’s 100 Best Songs and Albums of the Decade.

The Killers have become much like George W. to me. With each passing year, I found myself asking more intently: are people really falling for this? I don’t mean to be a hater. In fact, I thought, “Mr. Brightside” was a cute and catchy song. But with their new album, “Day & Age“, I’m thoroughly shocked.

Wow did Saturday Night Live suck this weekend. Their ’08 political satire has become as tired and one-sided as my grandmother’s first Kotex belt. But despite all the non-funny bullsh*t, I still found myself laughing balls at John Hamm in ‘Finger In Butts.’ Sometimes a finger is all you need.… Click to read more
