Whether they’re shooting up the bad guys or beating them down with their massive fists, there will always be macho action stars in movies. COED has weeded out the meek and complied a list of the manliest men to grace the big-screen whether it’s for their massive muscles, strong attitudes or just plain being cool. These are the actors we’d like to have a beer with, drag race with and maybe even chill with for a game of poker. We wouldn’t suggest cheating, though. Check out the list and vote for the most badass dude after the jump!

The Coen Brothers remake of the western classic “True Grit” hits theaters tomorrow. If you haven’t seen the previews or opened your eyes in the past week, “True Grit” stars Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, and this 14 year old prodigy Hailee Steinfeld. Bridges plays a tough U.S. Marshal who helps a stubborn young woman played by Steinfeld track down her father’s murderer. They showed a clip from the movie on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night and she was unbelievably good. Anyway, you should go see it. Also, here are 8 other westerns that should be in your Netflix queue.

Growing up is hard. Especially when you’re famous at a very early age. Many child actors are unable to lead a normal childhood and turn to the fast lane, Hollywood lifestyle of drugs and booze. Some, like Drew Barrymore, are able to pull out of the tailspin, some fade into oblivion (to the dismay of their fans), and others look like they’ve never aged! Hell, you might be watching a child star on your TV or in the theater later and not even know it! So, buckle up, hop in our DeLorean, ‘cuz we’re doin’ a little time travel with these “Then and Now” pics of famous faces.

Jackass 3-D had the biggest opening for the Fall season ever. Yeah. Believe dat. Raked in $50+ million, doubling Red’s take of $21 mil. I Want Your Money, the doc about Obama’s policies averaged only about $460 per screen, making the film’s title the most ironic ever. This week’s entries feature psychics, poltergeists, polygami… Click to read more

Ah, the overrated chant. If you’ve been to a major sporting event where an underdog upsets a favorite, you’ve probably heard it. But when it comes to movies, how does one know if a title is overrated? You don’t have that chant when the credits come up, so how does one know? The reputation comes over time. As the hype wears off, one gains perspective on its actual merit. The movies on this list are excellent examples of when the bandwagon careens out of control. And just like any other list, we’d like to preface by saying that COED does not think these movies are bad, but that you might want to pump the brakes, slow your roll, and check yourself when evaluating them among the classics.

When rumors swirled yesterday that Mickey Rourke and his The Wrestler co-star, Evan Rachel Wood, got caught making out, we were pretty impressed. She’s 21, and he’s 52. The cradle had officially been robbed. But how Rourke would stack up when pitted against the greats? We decided to put together a comprehensive list of legendary cradle robber… Click to read more

In a spat of sour Hollywood race-relations, Clint Eastwood said director Spike Lee should “shut his face” for questioning the racial make-up of Eastwood’s flicks. The comments came during an interview with the London Guardian, published today, in response to a complaint Lee aired, concerning the lack of African American actors in Ea… Click to read more
