Here’s a fun fact: I love freckles. I don’t know that you can have enough freckles. There’s no limit to the number you can have, there’s no tipping point. Well, the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Calendar recently came out and with it came 12 months of beautiful beach bodies. But, one in particular stood out – Cintia Dicker. Thankfully, her photo shoot for GQ Brazil’s November 2011 issue just hit the ‘net and they make the SI pics look like a Church bake sale. We’re talking wet. We’re talking wild. We here at COED have a soft spot for hot chicks with dots aka freckles. We don’t know exactly how to explain it, but apparently they’re genetic and triggered by sunlight. Me, personally, I see a freckle and I get the immediate desire to touch it. Like, in some bizarre way, if I press it like a button, the girl will be instantly turned on. One of our favorite freckled redheads, Cintia Dicker, is finally back in the spotlight. It’s been an intense couple of days for the ladies appearing in the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The announcement surrounding who’d be featured came this past Friday, then Letterman had the ladies on The Late Show to do his Top Ten list. From there, they waited anxiously to find out who would be on the cover. Who would’ve thought wearing a bathing suit could be so stressful? Well, you wouldn’t know it by looking at these sexy SIrens as they arrive at the Ed Sullivan Theater yesterday for the taping of last night’s episode.

We’re officially one step closer to knowing which stunning swimsuit model will own the cover of the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Friday night, SI unveiled the 17 featured models that will fill the pages of the overly-anticipated issue set to hit stands Tuesday, February 15th. There were a few surprises, most notably the absence of COED fave Daniella Sarahyba. But with returning veterans like Brooklyn Decker, Irina Shayk and Julie Henderson, alongside some of 2010′s hottest rookies and this year’s batch of newbies, 2011 is shaping up to be the sexiest edition yet.

The 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is available Tuesday, February 15th. The hype surrounding the mag’s release is reaching a fever pitch as everyone from last year’s cover model to Maroon 5′s Adam Levine has thrown out guesses as to which model will be in, and more importantly, ON the issue. Dan Patrick will announce this year’s models during the selection show airing tomorrow night (2/10) on DirecTV’s The 101 Network while David Letterman will announce the cover model on Valentine’s Day (Monday night). Even The Bachelor’s getting involved with Monday’s episode focusing on a photo shoot they did for the issue. Had enough? Well, get ready for more, as we take a look at the Twitpics of last year’s models in all their candid cuteness.

In February, Sports Illustrated will unleash their 2011 Swimsuit issue in 3D! And that means one model will be picked to grace the cover. Much thought goes into this important decision, and we’d personally like to thank SI for picking Brooklyn Decker in 2010, it’s a classic. But who will the lucky lady be this year? We’ve narrowed the field down to five likely contenders. Of course we have no pull in the decision – but we have correctly picked the cover models for the last two years and the pictures are fun to look at (which is all that matters anyway)!
