The Internet is literally filled with jackasses. Their misfortunes and apparent retardation are a large part of what keeps people coming back. So to narrow it down to only 15 might be a bit audacious. But that doesn’t mean we can’t try. Here are the 15 people we here at COED think, for one reason or another, deserve a spot in the history books under “Biggest Internet Jackasses of All-time.” Enjoy.
NOTE: We did not include anyone who makes their living being a jackass on the Internet. Only amateurs allowed. (more…)

As many of you heard, last night there was a “fight” in a WNBA game that looked about as real as a WWE wrestling match – we’re not the only one to make the case that this was a publicity stunt used to draw attention into the “intensity” of the sport.
Since the WNBA is now implementing circus like publicity stunts to draw attention to the league, we’ve decided to give them some more suggestions to help them up their fan base.
Check out Alternative WNBA Publicity Stunts after the jump! (more…)

When I was six years old, my dad took me to see a movie that made a lasting impression in my life. That movie was Batman. If Superman gave us the quintessential superhero in Christopher Reeve, then Batman gave us his counterpart in Jack Nicholson’s portrayal of Batman’s nemesis, the Joker. After almost twenty years, nobody has been able to top Jack’s performance, until last night.
The Dark Knight, the latest installment in the Batman movie franchise, returns us to same conflict between Batman and the Joker, with a Joker that makes Jack Nicholson look like Cesar Romero (look it up if you don’t get the reference). (more…)

Earlier this evening I was invited to a hush-hush, six-minute teaser of The Dark Knight at AMC Loews Lincoln Center in New York.
Being the nice guy that I am, I’ll break down the not-so-breaking details (the six minutes of Dark Knight glory have been previously shown at various locales throughout the week) of the entire affair.
Spoilers start here:
After an opening shot of Gotham City in the daytime, the pace picks up with clown-masked robbers in the midst of a major bank heist. The Killer Clowns bust through the bank’s doors, creating chaos out of order as they take control of the room, save for one unnamed employee (William Fichtner) keeping his cool, plotting against his newly-made adversaries.
Emerging from his desk Fichtner wields a shotgun, shattering the glass around him and emptying shots on the clowns, who safely duck behind a service area. “Do you really know what you’re getting into?” he says, hinting towards the bank being controlled by the mafia. After he runs out of ammo one clown jumps up and shoots his side, dropping him.
Throughout the hail of bullets in the bank lobby the other clowns in the operation, knee-deep in cash, are double and triple-crossing each other. With loads of money on the line, each clown’s motive is to kill the guy they’re next to, hoping to flee with all the earnings. (more…)

“It’s one of the best westerns and best all-around movies I’ve seen in a long time. That’s largely due to the outstanding performances by the cast, ably led by the alpha male, bad guy, Russell Crowe. His protagonist is Christian Bale who turns in a nuanced performance as the down-on-his luck rancher. The scenes between these two men are riveting and a display of acting at its best. The supporting cast are all wonderful and in particular, Ben Foster, Fonda and Logan Lerman as Bale’s oldest son.”
“The action is virtually non-stop which makes for a compelling, exciting story. But what really drew me in were the stellar performances, particularly that of Crowe. He is the bad guy you actually might end up rooting for. He goes from charming to deadly and back again all in the blink of an eye. He carries the film on his very able shoulders, but Bale gives him a good run for his money in the acting department.”
“This is one movie that any lover of westerns or anyone simply longing for a good movie with good acting will not want to miss. The two hours will go by in the blink of an eye and you’ll be wishing there was more.”
