It’s good to see that the Hornets are at least trying to get people to watch their games. Since letting Chris Paul go, getting Jackie Moon to announce the starting lineups is the best thing they’ve done besides hiring an already-injured Eric Gordon. Will does a great job of giving some great zingers to players like Carlos Boozer and Derrick Rose a… Click to read more

For the first time in what feels like a long time, the Los Angeles Lakers won’t be in the NBA Finals. We WILL have a new league & Western Conference champion. Thought a lot of haters are glad to see them go, we have to admit we’re going to miss them, strictly because we won’t be able to ogle their dancers during timeouts and before/after commercial breaks. But, no worries, we’ve discovered the remaining 4 teams have some pretty decent talent as well. Yesterday, we showed you the Miami Heat dancers doing burlesque. Today, we broaden our scope with a gallery of well-endowed dancers from the Mavs, Bulls, and Thunder that’ll make you want to bang from way downtown. Check it out after the jump!

It’s NBA playoff time and what better way to get into the action than by throwing down some wagers on the teams you think can take down the title. Will LeBron’s ”Decision” pay off? Will the old guard Celtics prove they are still the class of the East? Is Derrick Rose poised to take his team all the way to the Finals? Are Kobe and the Lakers ready to get to the finals for an amazing fourth straight year? Do the Spurs have anything left in the tank? Will Dallas finally make Mark Cuban’s dreams come true? It should be an interesting ride. Check Casino Steve’s playoff predictions after the jump!

We hope you spent New Year’s Eve partying like Snooki. We’re nearly midway through the season and have seen a lot of action lately as the good teams are beginning to distinguish themselves from the terrible teams.
Nothing is as depressing as the Cleveland Cavaliers at this point. After watching LeBron take his talents to South Beach, the Cavs ha… Click to read more

As first semester comes to a close, students around the country wrap up final exams and head home for the holidays. What better way to celebrate the season than by hitting up a few Christmas parties and rocking out with a top flight NBA game on in the background? Miami’s hitting their stride while Carlos Boozer and The Australian Assassin Andrew Bogut dominated the hardwood. More NBA reactions, analysis, and predictions after the jump!

Round One of The LeBron Hate Parade 2010 is in the books as he and his buddies shattered the Cavs in a demoralizing 118-90 victory that was nowhere near as close as the score indicates. The Heat are finally clicking and have won five straight heading into a west coast trip with stops in Utah, Golden State, and Sacramento. The smart money would suggest that the wins will keep piling up. See more reaction and analysis after the jump!

Welcome to the Thanksgiving Edition of the COED weekly NBA roundup where we will be focusing on all of those who deserve thanks this holiday weekend. Let’s start it off with a big Thanksgiving Thanks to Eva Longoria from the fans of San Antonio. Unfortunately, her brief three-year marriage to Spurs star point guard Tony Parker came to an end this week, but not at the expense of the Spurs win-loss record.

After an exciting first week of action in the 2010-11 season that centered around the new look Miami Heat, the addition of Shaq in Beantown, and Amare Stoudemire’s name littered across the Madison Square Garden marquee, we are starting to get back into the flow of a new season of NBA basketball

Every now and then a team comes along with the intuition to annihilate every possible opponent and show just how much better they are than everyone else. I’m not talking your old fashioned 13 win NFL season which is then followed up by some competitive post season games and then hopefully a championship. No, what we got here are team’s that just straight up said screw it and decided to kill your team, my team, and everyone else’s team.

Over the past two years, the talk around the NBA has centered around where LeBron James will play in 2010. Finally, that time is near. After July 1, LeBron, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and many other top superstars can be changing zip codes. Although some players such as Dirk Nowitzki, Amare Stoudemire and Paul Pierce have Early Termination Options (ETO) and are likely to remain with their respective teams, I’m including them in this list in case they do opt out, which will only add to the biggest free agent class in the history of sports.

On the totem pole of championship events, the NBA Finals is right there between the Indy 500 and the Fourth of July hot dog eating competition. Part of it is because nobody cares about the teams or by the time they’re ready to get invested into the Finals, the whole thing is over. Still, the NBA Finals used to mean something. It was the first must-see event of the summer when I was younger. So allow me to count down (or up) some memorable NBA Finals game.

Only rarely would any sane man pay over $200 for a pair of shoes that were not imported from Italy and made from ancient leather. But what would you say if I told you that some people do this every week and blow an entire paycheck on gym shoes alone? You would say those people are obsessed with playing basketball, but then I’d tell you that they were just buyin… Click to read more

For the second time in the past four years, “Whiny” Tim Thomas has been bought out of his contract by the Chicago Bulls. Thomas was traded by the New York Knicks to the Bulls for Eddy Curry in 2005, and again sent by the Knicks to the Bulls for Larry Hughes in 2009. The fact that this is the second time a Bulls/Thomas buyout has come directly after the Knicks plopped him into their laps…
