October 7th is Lee National Denim Day®, which was created in 1996 and has become one of the largest single-day fundraisers nationwide for breast cancer. In its first year, more than 3,000 companies signed up to participate, raising $1.4 million dollars. In the last 14 years, Lee National Denim Day has raised more than $80 million and has united nearly one million supporters nationwide on an annual basis. A recent report says that after two years of college, 45% of students learned little to nothing. After four years, 36% of students learned almost nothing. Meanwhile, the cost of college keeps rising.
