It was another stellar week of predictions for us as we DOMINATED, going 8-1. Our only loss? Pickin’ ‘Zona over the Beavers. Oklahoma smoked the Longhorns in the Red River Rivalry, K-State continues to look good, Penn State held the Hawkeyes in check, Georgia topped the Rocky Top crew, Auburn got slashed by the Razorbacks, and the Huskers edged the Buckeyes. So, what are the games to watch this week? Read on to see our picks and predictions along with galleries of each team’s gorgeous cheerleaders after the jump.

Yahoo’s sports blog “The Dagger” did a great job theoretically reseeding the Sweet 16 based solely on the two (or three, in VCU’s case) games each team has played so far in the NCAA tournament. Look great in your first two rounds? You’ll be high on this list. Struggle and you’re near the bottom. This isn’t an exercise designed to predict a winner or identify the best team remaining, even though Ohio State would probably top those lists as well.

You know that mode in Madden where you can pick a classic team for the past and pit them head to head with another classic team? ’72 Dolphins vs. ’07 Patriots, ’85 Bears vs. ’92 Cowboys, ’67 Packers vs. ’78 Steelers? Well, with bowl season kicking into high gear, we thought we’d overlook such travesties as the Meineke Car Care Bowl, and focus on bowl games we’d love to see played between two historically epic football teams.

But there is a something that any team would gladly have as the consolation prize to a championship — beating their hated rival. Here are the biggest rivals in the history of college football.

With two new teams cracking the top 10 in Week Two, we have an epic non-conference battled surrounded by a bunch of pushover games for the nation’s elite. Obviously headlined by the classic Big Ten/Pac-10 matchup, Week Two will give the teams in the top 10 a chance to try out trick plays, give time to some freshman, and iron out any kinks in their armor prior to conference play.

And if it doesn’t mean that, you’re doing something wrong with your life. To prepare you for this week’s game line-up, we’ve put together a pre… Click to read more
