Judging by the reports about the Olympic Committee’s decision for which city will win the bid to host the 2016 summer games, we have a sneaking suspicion that it’s not going to be Chicago. (Our money’s on Rio.) But with all the potential sexiness that comes with the Olympics, we have to do our part to help garner support for Chi-town landing the bid, which will be announced Friday. We vowed to stay miles away from the ridiculousness that is Shaq’s Big Challenge.  I mean c’mon, the world needs a Shaq reality show like we need six balls.  Our philosophy was if we just ignore it, it will go away.

It was good plan and it very well might have worked had the backsides of Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh not been pushing up against the inside of my flatscreen as I flipped across ABC.  Shaq was taking on the US Beach Volleyball Super-Duo May-Treanor and Walsh and I must admit I watched.  I liked.  Of course Misty and Kerri won in straight games, but the real winner of this match-up is you.

Once again, we bring you the beach volleyball butts of the Greatest Sport on Earth.  Thank you, Shaq.

Nothing is more exhilarating than Women’s Beach Volleyball… nothing except maybe Women’s Beach Volleyball played in the RAIN!!! Tonight Misty May-Treanor & Kerri Walsh defeated the boy-like Chinese team Tian Ja/Wang Jie in two straight matches, and did I mention they did it in the RAIN!!!

The set marks May-Treanor/Walsh’s 67th consecutive international win and second olympic gold medal in eight years.  These girls got it goin’ on.  One thing’s for certain, if there is a God, He loves Himself some Women’s Beach Volleyball.

With the 2008 Summer Olympics quickly approaching, make sure you check out one the most fantastic spectator sports around: women’s beach volleyball. Sure, the sport is just a lot of back and forth, but it’s awesome to watch. What’s better than pairs of sun-kissed cuties showing their skills in the sand–and showing off some awesome athlete ass? Nothing, that’s what.

Luckily for you, we’ve taken out all the obnoxious actual volleyball, and distilled it down to the best bits. The WNBA should take a look at what the AVP is doing, we’re guessing it would up their viewership a point or two…
