Remember when Will Forte told the BCS to S his D in front of millions of people on live TV?

Inspired by the fury Forte has for the college football system “Utah Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) will be taking the lead in considering anti-trust investigations of the BCS sometime this year, expressing outrage over the current system.”

Just as the University of Florida had a monopoly on the Babes of the 2009 BCS Championship game, Hatch says the BCS system “violates our nation’s antitrust laws by placing non-BCS universities at a serious competitive disadvantage.”

While Hatch is at it he should attempt to figure our why tickets to the championship game were so damn expensive this year…$142K a piece, really? And if he wants to get nasty the Senator should subpoena this Oklahoma University fatty and tell her to lighten up because OU is #3 in early 09-10 Top 25 projections.

Note to the BCS: Wake the F**k UP!  Your system blows and the credibility of the title of National Championship is a laughable joke.  Sure, numerous calls from the fans, ticket-holders and even the President-Elect to develop a sensible play-off system have continuously fallen on deaf ears… but maybe it’s not your fault.  Maybe the message just needs to be dumbed down in song with a catchy little hook to get it through your dense effing skulls.  Well our friends at SNL have done just that and Icouldn’t have said it better.  “I love the BCS… It’s the best system ever devised neck and neck with the electoral college.  And if you have some sort of problem with that, I invite you to S my D.

It should be of no surprise to you that we at COED pulled for the Gators in BCS Championship game. Sure Sam Bradford seems like a stand-up guy, and the Sooners have a smokin’ hot cheerleadering squad, but ever since our mind blowing road trip to Gainsville for the LSU vs UF game in October our loyalty has been with the Gators.

Boston College Threatens Coach for Jets Interview

Boston College coach Jeff Jagodzinski has been told he will be fired if he interviews for the head-coaching vacancy with the New York Jets, according to sources.

The interview is scheduled for Monday evening. Despite the threat from athletic director Gene DeFilippo, Jagodzinski plans to do the interview with the Jets, the sources said.

If Jagodzinski is fired, the school will consider three in-house candidates to replace him as head coach — offensive coordinator Steve Logan, defensive coordinator Frank Spaziani and offensive line/assistant head coach Jack Bicknell — a source told ESPN.com’s Pat Forde. [ESPN]

University of Michigan Spends $2.5 billion on New Building Projects

An army of ironworkers, masons, carpenters and laborers are swarming the campus of the University of Michigan these days, as the university undertakes a construction campaign budgeted at $2.5 billion, ranking it among the largest university building programs in the United States.

Nine major buildings for science, medicine, health, art, business, sports, food service and student housing are in various stages of construction here.

They encompass nearly three million square feet, at a cost of about $1.66 billion. Five others are in the design stage. [NYT]

Obama: Cool For School

From 1979 – 1981 President elect Barack Obama was a student at Occidental College, a small liberal arts school in Los Angeles. COED Hangs with Bam Margera

A few weeks back Jackass star Bam Margera was nice enough to invite COED to his home in West Chester to hang out for the day. Bam showed us around his new bar/concert venue, ‘The Note,’ took us on a tour of his sprawling 14 acre estate, did some skate tricks in his massive indoor skate barn and even introduced us to his family, Phil, April and new wife Missy. Cleveland State Upsets #11 Syracuse With Miracle Buzzer Beater

Cleveland State and #11 Syracuse fought each other down to the wire last night, and the underdog Vikings (in green) hit a miracle 60-foot prayer at the buzzer to score a 72-69 upset on ‘Cuse’s home court. And yet, that’s not even my favorite part of the story. At the post-game press conference, Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim got stuck with a dysfunctional mic that kept hitting him with piercing feedback. College football bowl season is finally here!

As we all know by now the Florida Gators will take on Oklahoma in the FedEx BCS National Championship Game. Barring a catastrophic off the field injury to Tim Tebow, Florida is going to eat Oklahoma alive. A more even match-up would have been the Gators vs USC but in the current BCS era we have to take what they give us and live with it.

The 2008-09 bowl season will start in Albuquerque on December 20th and end in Miami on January 8th.
