November 7th is National Magazine Day. When you’re looking to buy a magazine, the first thing you see is the cover (editor’s note: Duh). If you happened to see the covers of the 70 issues here, you might have bought the mag without even opening the pages; they’re that amazing. You can forget the phrase “you can’t judge a book by its cover” for now because, well, they’re not books (editor’s note: double duh). So, apparently Canada gets a Thanksgiving day too (which is today). Before I tell you what I’m thankful for, I just want to point out that Canadian Thanksgiving Day is a total f*cking bizzaro-world version of the US’s Thanksgiving day: 1) They put gravy on their fries instead of turkey and 2) They have a ‘Thanksgiving Day Classic’ CFL game every year. According to Wikipedia, February is Canadian History Month. Since Wikipedia never lies… we decided to celebrate this commemorative collection of days by honoring the Great White North’s great “white hot” nymphs. As What Would Tyler Durden Do points out, Smallville began its 10th season earlier this week so the CW sent out pics of Laura Vandervoort as Supergirl.
