What do Russians do when they’re bored out of their minds during a snowy afternoon? Play Tetris on their iPhones? Good gracious, no, they’re out in the field firing at mountains to start an  avalanche of all things. While it isn’t in the country’s best interest to waste military ordnance and people’s tax dollars, from a financial standpoint, Russian scientists were eager to learn the effect a missile has on a snow covered mountain. It’s needless to say the experiment was a huge success. Fortunately for them, Yakov Smirnoff’s Law of Russian Reversal wasn’t a variable in the experiment. Otherwise, mountain fire on you!
