10 Super Bowl Contenders That Should Sign Randy Moss [POLL]

Recently, Randy Moss announced on a live webcast during his birthday that he would be coming out of retirement after retiring in August. There are a handful of teams that are on the cusp of making a run at the Super Bowl. They all appear to be missing 1 or 2 components though. Is Sergeant Straight Cash Homey the answer? Other teams have taken a crack at him and had ho… Click to read more

14 Cities That Have Never Kissed The Lombardi Trophy

14 Cities That Have Never Kissed The Lombardi Trophy

Back in late May, we took a look at the 11 NHL cities that have never kissed Lord Stanley’s Cup. Almost 27% of voters thought the Capitals would be the team to bring their city its first ever championship. Atlanta was also on that list – now they don’t even have a team. But, at least they love their Falcons… even after 45 trophy-less years. So, with the Falcons considered Super Bowl contenders this season (even after their horrific loss to the Bears Sunday), we thought we’d take a look at all the NFL cities who’ve yet to hear their MVP say he’s going to Disney Land. Check out the full list then vote for the city you think will win its first ever Lombardi first after the jump.

The 20 Most Anticipated Games Of The 2011 NFL Season

The 20 Most Anticipated Games Of The 2011 NFL Season

The last few years it seems the trend in the NFC, at least, is for #5 and #6 seeds to look mediocre during the regular season then straight up run the gamut and win it all when it counts. The AFC has been fairly more predictable with the Pats, Colts, and Steelers playing merry go round at the top of the heap. With the Lockout ending in late July, most teams are struggling to make up for lost time. With more than 250 games on tap, we’ve narrowed down the field to the 20 we’re most looking forward to. Check’ em out after the jump.

2011 NFL Divisional Playoffs Preview: Cheerleader Showdown [PICS]

So, COED went 3-1 last week with our predictions, though our final scores were way off. Take a wild (card) guess which game we lost on. That’s right. Those wiley Seahawks. Marshawn Lynch (no relation) had one of the most epic… whoops, can’t use that word… the craziest run in the history of the playoffs shedding 8 tackles en route to a long touchdown. See our predictions (and pics of each team’s cheerleaders) after the jump!

Where Will Vince Young Play Next Season? [NFL RUMORS]

Where Will Vince Young Play Next Season? [NFL RUMORS]

If there were anyone with a more tense relationship with his coach and the fan base as Vince Young I would be surprised. Sure, Donovan McNabb’s tumultuous tenure in Philly was bad, but he and Andy Reid were close. Vince, on the other hand, just can’t seem to handle the pressures involved with playing at the NFL level. While McNabb’s at least lead a couple teams to championship games and a Super Bowl, Vince only has 1 Pro Bowl year under his belt and has zero playoff experience. See who we think Vince will play for next season after the jump!

The 10 Most Improbable Super Bowl Teams Of All-Time [POLL]

The 10 Most Improbable Super Bowl Teams Of All-Time [POLL]

After another wild weekend in the NFL, the final seeds are set for this year’s playoffs. Twelve teams will enter the postseason with Super Bowl aspirations, all of which believe they have a realistic shot at making the Big Game. As most teams gear up for this “new” season, they believe all bets are off. Regular season records no longer matter. It’s what you do in this next 3-4 games that counts. So, if you’re a Chiefs or Seahawks fan and you think there’s not a shot in hell your team’s holding the Lombardi Trophy come February, you might want to take a look at this list of Super Bowl improbables.

The Richest NFL Rookie Contracts

The Richest NFL Rookie Contracts

With the NFL draft quickly approaching on April 22, outrageous rookie contracts and salaries are becoming a hot topic once again. When 21-year-old players who haven’t passed all their humanities courses are being guaranteed upwards of $30 to $40 million, it has become clear you don’t have to be a middle-aged Wall Street mogul to be a mega-rich anymore.

Michael Vick Paid His Debt – MOVE ON!

Michael Vick Paid His Debt – MOVE ON!

Let PETA do their usual song and dance; let them come to every game and spray blood like it’s a 1970s Gallagher concert, but don’t buy into this crap. We have a justice system for a reason. For every crime, there is a debt owed to society. Michael Vick has paid it according to the American judicial system.
