This video of an Amasian (amazing Asian) sensation comes to us via Gizmodo. The girl’s YouTube Name is OhISeeRED and according to her profile, she’s an artist who loves to paint, but without a paintbrush. Red is her nickname (she needs to battle Morgan Freeman’s character from Shawshank Redemption), she was born and raised in Borneo and… Click to read more

Watching The Italian Job or Ocean’s 11 may give you the sudden urge to become a master thief; for about two minutes. Then you realize you don’t want to spend the next 10-20 years in prison because they always get caught, right? Actually that is very wrong. Even though almost every high profile robbery and heist is eventually solved, there have been a small number of Hollywood-worthy heists that have turned up no arrests or loot. Take a look at “The 5 Greatest Unsolved Heists Ever” after the jump.

A few days ago, my cousin sent me an article on a Banksy exhibit in the Hamptons (yes, street art exhibit in the Hamptons – another story altogether). Essentially, it explains some controversy about people stealing the “criminal’s” artwork off of the wall and then selling it for hundreds of thousands of dollars – something Banksy can’t do himself because he’s a wanted criminal. If you feel the need to check out some cool street art, you don’t need to take the Jitney all the way out to Long Island, a bunch of it is here in the concrete jungle. Not from the area? Then check out our gallery of street art / graffiti found in New York City after the jump.

On June 1st, the AP ran a story about a hubcap artist / hubcap art collector by the name of Ken Marquis who founded LandFillArt, which is described on the website as “an artist reclamation project”. Over the past three years, he’s collected more than 1,000 pieces from artists in more than 50 countries. One artist who takes hubcap art to a whole ‘nother level is Ptolemy Elrington. UK newspaper, The Telegraph, featured the fruits of his labor a while back. Something tells me he’s the man behind the Iron Man suit, not Tony Stark. Well, we decided to put their art on full display. Check it out after the jump!

As we stated last week in our post about bad-ass Big Lebowski tattoos, “The Big Lebowski” is a community, a culture, a nation unto itself, spawning bars, museums, festivals, and religions. Maybe our favorite part of such a feverish phenomenon is the fan art. Justin Bieber knows what we’re talkin’ about. Yet, it’s rare when you stumble upon a treasure trove of fan art dedicated to such a minor character as Jesus Quintana. One thing’s for sure, no one will f*** with it. See the masterpieces after the jump!

Today’s WTF news items feature an NYU professor who did some hi-tech body modification and should probably look into getting Third Eye Blind to do a theme song, a 3 year old boy from New York who is defying all odds and proving we really DON’T use that much of our brains, and a vice principal in California who might be the coolest dude in the solar system. Read more WTF wackiness after the jump!

Pamela Anderson is truly one of a kind: a pin-up with huge implants who somehow managed to cross over from the pages of Playboy to the American mainstream. There are others like her — most notably Carmen Electra and Jenny McCarthy — but while her contemporaries have been languishing on the D-list for years now…
