It’s World Cup qualifying season, and the US has just announced their roster for this Sunday’s (5PM, ESPN2) qualifying game against Barbados at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. Ok, here’s the deal. Ever since putting together COED Presents: The 50 Sexiest WAGs of World Soccer, we’ve been getting really into soccer, trying to figure it all out.  Sunday night, I went to the US vs Argentina match at Giant Stadium  and it was one of the best sports experiences of our lives. The intense rivalry between nations, 79,000 people chanting in unison for their team and against yours–it was an experience you just don’t get with American football.

The 2008 EuroCup kicked off on Saturday and needless to say, I’ve been glued to the TV. I’ve  also been doing extensive research trying to give myself a crash course to get up to speed on international soccer.
