Christina Applegate Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Thirty Six year-old Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

A representative close to Applegate made a statement saying, “Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor-ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time.”

Applegate is well known for her role as Kelly Bundy in FOX’s Married… with Children. After her 10 year stint with the show ended in 1997 Applegate went on to have a successful film career starred alongside Will Farrell in Anchorman.
