I think it has become pretty clear just how desperate celebrities can be to get their hands on some more cash (I’m looking at you Nic Cage!). What better way to do it than to agree to do some random and often awkward commercial in a foreign market? Your embarrassment generally goes under the radar amongst the American public and you can get a pretty penny fo… Click to read more

Just like the planet is getting warmer and warmer, ads are becoming racier and racier – it’s just an inevitable fact. While a lot of this year’s commercials feature well-known actresses and models, many of them dared to feature “new blood” that looks just as good (if not better) than the vets we know and love. Click to see the full list along with links to pics of the chicks featured.

On Sept. 20, 1973, Billie Jean King defeated Bobby Riggs in what’s known as the “Battle of the Sexes” tennis match. Though we’ve made great strides as a society to level the playing field, many still believe women get the raw end of the stick. Truth is you watch a show like Mad Men and you forget that was a way of life way back when. No matter what you think about the clothes, American Apparel has, hands down, the hottest ads we’ve ever seen. In fact, they’re not just the hottest ads, but some of the hottest pictures, period. From using porn stars as models to showing as much skin as possible as a rule, American Apparel has pushed the limits of advertising in the US to an awesomely sexy level…

Everybody knows, smoking kills. From Truth’s “hip” viral marketing campaigns to your Aunt Debby’s constant hacking, the fact that tobacco use kills more than 5 million people per year and is the cause of six of the world’s eight leading causes of death shouldn’t surprise anyone. And yet people keep smoking…

Way back in 1993, AT&T released a series of commercials called “You Will,” which showed off some “fantasy” technology that they predicted would become a reality in the coming years. Watching them now, it’s amazing how many things they got right. It’s almost too good…

Advertisements. Can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without them. From the repetitively obnoxious (FreeCreditReport.com) to the overtly sexual (Victoria’s Secret), we are bombarded hundreds of times daily by the nauseous pollution of advertising. But it wasn’t always this way.

HEY! STOP LOOKING AT HER CLEAVAGE! SHE’S ONLY NINE FOR CHRISSAKES!!
Statutory Rape, or Stat-Rape for those in the know, is a distressing subject for any parent with a slutty, angsty, d*cktease of a daughter. Lucky for them, ad agency Serve has come to the rescue and served up some good old young awareness for those pondering the act of pedophilia (I know… Click to read more
