Want to buy more crap? Well, tomorrow Amazon will be releasing its iPhone app, which will allow users to take a picture of anything and then get an Amazon page to buy that thing. So how the hell does this work? Magic? Amazing technology? Nope – Amazon has a team of people actually matching up every photo to products on Amazon.com. They recieve the photo you send to them and then get back to you with an answer in anywhere from five minutes to 24 hours. Until today when I heard sexy + female + blogger all in the same sentence the only two people that came to mind were our favorite sex columnist and Wired magazine cover girl Julia Allison (who just happened to get her start at COED Magazine a few years back) and Rachelle Hruska, editor of Guest of a Guest. Rightfully so, these two blog queens are smokin’ hot and web-savvy!

Mind you, the dirt doesn’t have to be a ‘bad’ thing, per se, it just has to be the information that you probably did not know lying beneath the scene of the music industry. The home of movies’ famed stoner duo Harold and Kumar attracts young professionals, students and artists – and not just those who crave White Castle sliders.

Legend has it that Hoboken has more bars per capita in its one square mile than any other city in the United States. Pub crawling aside, the town attracts young people looking for relatively affordable housing just minutes from New York City. Hoboken’s waterfront is also a great place to take a date to share a romantic view of the Manhattan skyline.

Rottentomatoes.com is a marvelous website, but I recently found out that it may be lying to all of us. If you don’t know what this website does, I’ll give you a brief overview: It reports on movies that are currently playing in theatres around the U.S. by providing links to pictures, videos and plot summaries.

It also collects hundreds of reviews written in newspapers, magazines and on the internet and gives the movie a rating based on the number of positive reviews divided by the total (for those non-math majors, this is called a percentage). Any movie with a rating higher than 60 percent is said to be fresh and is probably worth seeing, anything under 60 percent is rotten. (more…)
