I’ve never been one for little guys fighting, but Saturday Night’s Pacquiao Vs. Hatton fight in Las Vegas had me goin’ pretty good. Sure, HBO’s Pacquiao-Hatton 24/7 helped to build the hype, but Hatton had no chance from the get go. Hatton went down twice in the 1st round and met his fate with a last minute left-cross in the 2nd to end his title run.

I know that soccer will never become what sports like football and baseball already are here in the United States. If not for the huge demographic of American sports fans that think it’s a “fruity commie game,” it could still never fully succeed here because there just isn’t any down-time built into the games for advertisers to pump full of commercials…

And tomorrow night, it’s going to get a lot better: We just received confirmation from a very in-the-know, anonymous source that Kanye West is confirmed to play the Fader Fort Saturday night at 8:45pm, putting to rest what has to be the biggest rumor of SXSW 2009.

Local British hotties don’t get the respect and awe that they deserve. We all know about the Keeleys, Lucys and the pre-crack Amy Winehouses – but what about the local talent that can be found on London’s famed High Street?
