Am I a hater for saying that I don’t think I’d like to have had James Bond as a friend? Granted, the overflow of ladies he encounters would surely fall into my gutter-game but that doesn’t make up for the fact that he starts fights everywhere he goes. Ever buy a bootleg DVD? There’s weird cover art, typos, and unusual packaging. Was the guy lazy? No, he’s just not from around here. As the “City of Sushi” episode of South Park pointed out, cultural differences can be hilarious, especially when international destinations try to market and sell tickets for American made films. The original on N64 sold over 8 million freakin’ copies back in 1997 and is widely considered the most influential first person shooting (FPS) game of all time. Bond is back! This time with a brand new original story written by Bruce Feurstein, the same guy who brought you such master pieces as GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies. Add voice acting from true 007 stars Daniel Craig and Judy Dench, and Blood Stone feel more like a movie than a video game.

Keep you girlfriends close and your gun closer. James Bond is heading to town and he’s bringing a world of hurt and heartbreak with him. Bond’s new adventure, 007 Blood Stone hits shelves November 2 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, and PC and from what I’m seeing being Bond in a video game has never been closer to the real thing.
