With today’s kick-off of the 95th Rose Bowl, we thought it only fitting to feature former 2000 Rose Queen beauty Sophia Bush as the first Miss COED of 2009.  In addition to her numerous big and small screen roles (National Lampoon’s Van Wilder and the WB’s One Tree Hill just to name a few), this buxom USC-ex was voted #90 on FHM’s Sexiest Women of 2007 and #24 on Maxim’s Hot 100 of the same year. Let’s hope 2009 brings us a little more Bush… Sophia Bush.

Unfortunately, there is so little reliable information out there about Italian model Frederica Fontana that we don’t really have anything else to say about her other than that. However, when a woman this ridiculously beautiful exists in the world, it is our duty as men to share super hot pictures of her with our fellow men. Don’t you agree?

Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, 25-year-old bombshell Kandyce Proia has appeared in countless magazines around the world, from Import Tuner to FHM. She was voted FHMonline.com’s Digital Darling winner for 2007, and done promotional work for countless other publications and events. And we have to say, if Santa Claus were actually a bangin’ blond with sexy stockings, we’d be still be staying up all night on Christmas Eve.

Beyond the fact that Alina Puscau is a seasoned Victoria’s Secret model there is very little information about her floating around on the internets. If I had to guess, she in her mid-twenties and from Eastern Europe because Eastern Europe produces 97% of the world’s dark haired, light eyed beauties.

This 30-year-old stunner hails from Holland - the land of all things awesome.  She’s made appearances in magazines like, Seventeen, Harper’s and Cosmopolitan. And she’s modeled for a swath of companies, like Polo Jeans Co, Ralph Lauren, XOXO and the Gap. But if you ask us, that’s not nearly enough. (Victoria’s Secret, anyone?…)

It’s indisputable: “Riverbottom Nightmare Band” is not only the greatest Christmas song of all time, but the greatest song of all time, period.

I’m not even joking: check the heavy as f*** main riff, 70’s glam-rock moves and of course, the most bad-a** lyrics and melodies ever penned by puppets. This makes stoner-rock groups like Black Sabbath and Deep Purple sound like Smash Mouth by comparison.

So what if the lyrics don’t deal directly with Christmas. Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas, the movie the song is featured in, is a holiday movie; it’s festive by default. And it totally destroys Emmet’s entry into the talent show, the lame-o “In Our World/Brothers.”

Today, she’s appeared on the cover of countless fashion magazines, rocked the catalogs and runways for Victoria’s Secret in 2005 and has modeled for Hermès, Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Valentino, Chanel, Christian Dior, Versace, Oscar de la Renta and Ralph Lauren, among others. And she plays an exotic dancer in Abel Ferrara’s “Go Go Tales,” so…yeah, we’re going to have to check that one out.
