Dancing With The Stars’ Karina Smirnoff To Pose For Playboy

On Wednesday, Apr. 6, Mr. Hefner tweeted, “The May [2011] issue of Playboy is unforgettable with “Dancing With The Stars” Karina Smirnoff on the cover & nude inside.” I believe this is the first time a DWTS regular will appear nude in the magazine. Usually, it’s the other way around, a Playmate will appear (clothed) on DWTS. We welcome this role reversal with open eyes. However, PopEater revealed Karina might be released from the show because of it. Talk about double standards, ABC. The Ukrainian American professional ballroom dancer’s accomplishments include five-time U.S. National Champion, World Trophy Champion, and Asian Open Champion. This season, she’s paired with “Karate Kid” star Ralph Macchio and she’s also engaged to Tigers pitcher Brad Penny with a wedding tentatively set for October or November.
