Ballyhoo! Talks Music, Drinking And Hot Pockets [INTERVIEW]
May 9, 2012 by Adam Brezak - SIU

In an effort to gear up for the epic party that is the 311 Cruise leaving Miami on May 10th, we caught up with one of our favorite acts Ballyhoo! to talk about their music and plans to dominate the tables during their off-hours. To check out more about the 311 cruise, see our initial write-up here.
COED: First off, how did you guys decide on a name? What does it mean?
Ballyhoo: Well on our World Tour 1996, we went hiking in the Himalayas. We all know it’s a bad idea to do this without taking a Sherpa, so we took one. He did a great job getting us to the summit, where we cooked baked beans with Saracha sauce. The Saracha was too much for his stomach to handle and he died. We ended up riding his corpse safely to the bottom, where we decided we needed to pay tribute to him and name our band after him. His name was Steve. But Ballyhoo! sounded cooler, so we decided to go with that instead. And it means a big, loud, blatant expression of self promotion.
Explain the story behind landing the 311 cruise gig.
It probably began with having Chad mix the song ‘The Friend Zone’ for our record, ‘Cheers!’ Between some contacts we got a few opening slots with them in 2008 and then again in 2010. We were then invited to play their Pow Wow festival last year, and I guess our impression is staying positive because they invited us on the cruise shortly after.

Who are your influences musically?
Mix in some Sublime, 311, Incubus, Green Day, Goldfinger, Suicide Machines, with a dash of metal and punk. And there you go.
Your new CD is awesome. Do you feel you changed musically from your past cd’s?
Thanks! We think so too. The sound has definitely matured a lot, and seems to be steering more towards the rock side. The band played a lot tighter on this record as well. Incorporation of the piano and keys has really added another dimension to the sound, filling it out and allowing for piano driven songs that Howi has always wanted to play like ‘Ricochet.’
You are going to be playing at Bamboozle. Anyone playing you are really excited to see?
We’re all really stoked to see Foo Fighters! Excited to hear them play each and every one of their 324 smash hits. Heard they put on a really good live show, and from what I’ve seen on documentaries and such, we’ve heard right. Dave Grohl was a big influence on Donald’s hit-the-drums-hard-as-shit style and Howi’s song writing. Really hoping to meet him back stage just to shake his hand and say ‘Good Job!’
Warped tour is also a staple in everyone’s summer. Did you guys go as kids?
I never had a ride.
Who was the coolest band that you have ever opened up for?
The tour we did with Pepper was an absolute blast. Everyone in the band and crew were super cool with us, whether it be Yesod bringing us hot pockets or Kaleo making us Brojitos or Coach teaching us important life lessons. Lots of fun after parties. And they crushed it on stage every night.
What are you looking forward to the most on the cruise?
Representing on the Flip Cup table! That and playing our show for a ton of fans of this style music. I know we are going to have a good amount of Ballyhoo! fans on the boat already, and I think there’s going to be a good amount of fans of 311 and other bands that have heard our name enough now that they’ll come check us out. Hoping to gain a bunch more Ballyhooligans out of the deal! Oh, and the whole ‘being on a cruise and partying in the Caribbean with 311 and a ton of cool people’ part isn’t going to suck.
That’s it guys! Don’t forget to check out our recap after the cruise. If our journalism isn’t enough for you, you can always join us. Buy tickets here.
Devin Hester Has The Most Swagger Of The Chicago Bears [INTERVIEW]
April 29, 2012 by Adam Brezak - SIU

This weekend Nike showed off their new NFL jerseys in Chicago and brought along the Bears’ speed-freak Devin Hester. The wide-receiver has been the focus of conversation lately as the Bears are looking to institute a “Devin Package.” We didn’t want to miss the Q&A, so we headed off to Dick’s Sporting Goods. Luckily, we got to speak to him afterwards. Here is what he had to say about the new jerseys, the new draft picks, and the new offense. [lead image via NewsOne]

COED: Obviously a Nike guy. It’s a Nike event. I like what you said about Reebok. It’s just the quality with Nike. The quality, it’s just better. It’s a proven fact. Everybody likes Nike. The material is stronger, it’s lighter and better. It’s the material that I like.
How is it going to be for returns? Have you ever had guys just grab your jersey? A couple times. But like they said, this material is slippery, harder to grab. It gives more of an advantage for guys like myself.
We just made our 2nd draft pick. We just picked Alshon Jeffery. Is that good? We need at least 5 or 6 solid receivers. With this type of offense we need lots of guys to come in and help. We knew going into the draft that we were going to get another receiver.
Do you guys talk about that stuff at all? As players we know we need other guys. Guys get hurt left and right. We need players to alternate in and out.
COED: What about you? You have been working out with Johnny [Knox]. Have you talked to him? What’s his status? I talk to him every day. He’s off his brace. He’s doing a little running on his own, starting to lift weights again, at one point he couldn’t even do that. It’s going take some time with Johnny, it’s not an injury you can just come back from overnight.
As a predominantly special teams player, how do you feel about the NFL trying to rid away with kickoffs? If they do that, it’s pretty much going to ruin the game I think. In situations where we have onside kicks, what do you do from that point? If a team scores a touchdown with 40 seconds left on the clock, how are they going to get the ball back if they need it? If that phase of the game just gets taken out, at the point the game just going to be pointless.
What do you think about the rule changes this year? How did that affect your game. There were some returns where you did well, but there were some where you didn’t get any yards. It prevented a lot of concussions, but I guess that’s the only thing you can look at. Other than that, at the same time, players want to give fans what they want to see. Returns are an exciting part of the game, when you start taking away things like that, you pretty much take the fun out of football.

How do you like Mike Tice as the new offensive coordinator? I love Mike Tice. He brings a lot of energy and excitement to the offense. And not only to the players, but as a person. You get a coach like that, that is more socialable to you, it makes you want to give more effort to a person that is just as energized as you.
How do you feel about Brandon Marshall joining the squad? It’s going to be a big help. Tremendously. Brandon is a big guy, and teams are really going to have to key in on him, and it’s going to open up a lot for other guys. When guys start making other plays, and the thunder comes rolling in, that’s when Brandon goes into beast mode. This offense that we have this year, it’s going be hard for a team to just run cover two, cause we got two way running backs. We are going put up a lot of points.
How do you think you will fit into the offense this year? This year I’m gonna be a playmaker! Big Plays. That’s what I am here for and that is what I’m going to do.
You got [Brandon] Marshall, and Earl [Bennet], and we don’t know what’s going on with Johnny [Knox], but you just got Alshon Jeffery, a big target out of South Carolina. Like you said, these are going to be some crazy match ups. When you get a team like that, everybody is going to have their share. There is one game where one guy catches 15 balls, then the next week it’s going be another guy. When you have a team like that, it’s hard to scheme and come with up with a situation to shut this team down.
Other than you, who is the Bear with the most Swag? I don’t know (Laughs), I gotta check out what all the new guys are looking like.
So only you then? Only me.

There you have it! Straight from Devin Hester himself. With a new season underway, who knows what will come? New Jerseys, new offensive coordinator, new playmakers on the offense, it all keys in! Check out the new Jersey Designs in the gallery below, and don’t forget to follow me on twitter (@adambrezak) for more interviews!!!
Party With 311 On A Private Cruise/Island This Summer
April 24, 2012 by Adam Brezak - SIU

How does 4 days in the sun partying on a private island with 311 sound? Pretty dope, right? We agree — that’s why COED is setting sail with the band (and many others) on May 10th from Miami, FL on the 311 Caribbean Cruise. The ship is going to drop off the revelers at their own private island, Half Moon Cay, which going to host the party to end all parties. The party is only two weeks away, so make sure to get your tickets while they’re hot. One of the best parts about this cruise is the fact that room accommodations can be made so that you can bunk with all your friends. Another good part, mentioning COED in the referral gets you a discount.
In addition to great live music and a private f*cking island to party on, there are going to be tons of other activities for you to enjoy including: Karaoke, Island sports, Acoustic Jam Rooms, a Singles Mingle, Yoga, Casino, Beer Pong, Flippy Cup, BattleShots!, Basketball with P-Nut, Bingo, a Sandcastle building contest, a Ping Pong Tournament, and Beer Tastings. 311 is playing a total of 3 shows on the cruise, but there are 15 other bands as well (check the bottom for the full lineup).

If you feel like being lame and not joining us, I’ll be live tweeting the event (@AdamBrezak).
Full Lineup: DJ Trichrome, Cisco Adler, DJ Michael Baroody, J Randy, Moral Defect, Trailer Park Ninjas, Exes of Evil Outlaw Nation, Full Service, Passafire, DJ Soulman, Shootyz Groove, 2 Skinnee J’s, Ballyhoo!, and the Dirty Heads!!! SOOOOO, now that you are all filled in, grab your best friends, buy the tickets, and come hang out in the Bahamas with 311 and COED Magazine.

Jesse Jane Wants A Ryan Sandwich [INTERVIEW + PHOTOS]
April 7, 2012 by Adam Brezak - SIU

Jesse Jane has been described as “The Face of Modern Porn”, and has withstood the test of time in the adult film industry. We here at COED recognize talent when we see it, and wanted to sit down and chat with Jesse. We got up close and personal with Jesse, so you could get up close and personal with Jesse.
COED: You grew up a military brat. What was that like?
Jesse: My father was in the air force, and he was really hard on me. We lived in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, but we moved every 2-3 years. It really helped me develop great social skills, and I met a lot of new people and experienced a bunch of new places. I loved Oklahoma so much that I decided to live there!
COED: CNBC recently said that you were the “Face of Modern Porn”. How does that feel?
Jesse: It’s an honor and I’m very flattered. I love it. It’s really cool to be acknowledged that way, because some actresses and actors don’t even get to go mainstream. I got into the industry before people got porn for free online, so I think that had a lot to do with me excelling.
COED: You have been on the TV shows Middle Men, Entourage etc. How is different acting with your clothes on?
Jesse: It really is no different for me. Either I’m getting f*cked, or pretending to get f*cked. It keeps thing interesting. When I did Entourage, all the guys were really cool, and super nice. They were just like their characters on the show! I had a super big crush on Kevin Connelly but I couldn’t tell him lol.

COED: You have made a name for yourself in the Rock and Roll world, being a cover model for Drowning Pool. Are you a big fan or did they contact you?
Jesse: They contacted me, but I am also a huge fan of Rock and Roll. It was so much fun! Those guys are awesome. When they asked if would do the cover to the album I was like F*CK YEAH!
COED: You have also done work with Kid Rock and Robbie Williams. How did that come about?
Jesse: Robbie also contacted me. Kid Rock was an ex-boyfriend.

COED: Tell me about Diosa Tequila.
Jesse: Well, I love to drink, and most of the shooters I do have tequila in them. So, I figured why not have a flavored tequila that I know is my favorite. That’s why I started the company. It’s been a lot of hard work, but I love it. Diosa has been around for about a year and a half now and I am really proud of it!
COED: You have your own line of sex toys. How does it feel to know people connect with you on a level where they buy your toys?
Jesse: I think it’s great my fans can have a piece of me. It’s cool to know they like me a little better than just watching me on film.
COED: You have had your mouth, a**, and snatch molded into fleshlights. Describe that process.
Jesse: Well you lie naked and have this gooey stuff poured on you. There is a complete stranger watching, because they have to make the mold. To get it all the way in, I had to push the goo in myself. So, I’m sitting there masturbating in from of this stranger. Then, it dries, and you can’t move while it’s drying. When the mold is done, they just pull it out.
The mouth mold really freaked me out, because you just have to keep all this stuff in your mouth for a long time. I had to breathe through my nose and I just closed my eyes and kept breathing until it was over.
COED: Personally, what is your favorite accomplishment?
Jesse: That’s a super tough question. I would have to say lasting as long as I have. I’m still at the top, and I love that. It’s been about 10 years now, and I just love where I am at.
COED: How has Twitter changed how you reach out to fans, and how they reach out to you?
Jesse: Twitter is great to be more personal with your fans, and friends. Plus, it’s a great marketing tool. I love it.

COED: If you could have sex with any 3 people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
Jesse: Angelina Jolie, because she is my all my all time favorite actress. She’s hot, beautiful, powerful, takes no sh*t, and has a killer body. I would love to get her in bed.
Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Gosling are tied. Not only are both Ryan’s, and both hot, but I would prefer to be in the middle of a Ryan Sandwich.
COED: Who are your favorite Co-Stars?
Jesse: I love Manuel Ferra, Erik Everhard. They are excellent guys to work with. As far as girls, I love my Digital Playground girls Kayden Kross and Riley Steele.
COED: Have you worked with the hedgehog, Ron Jeremy?
Jesse: I have not. But I know him and he is a wonderful guy!
COED: Any up & comers you think we should keep an eye on?
Jesse: Lookout for Bibi Jones and Selena Rose. They are the new hotties on the up and up.
COED: You have won countless awards. Is there one that is your favorite?
Jesse: I won best supporting actress for Fighters, and I worked incredibly hard on that movie. I had to take my character home with me. I learned how to box for the role, and I had to train day after day for the movie. Then, when we were filming, they had to get different angles of all the hits, and body shots, so I was taking these hits constantly. I loved it.
COED: Do you have any advice for anyone going into the adult film world?
Jesse: Make sure you love sex and don’t care if anyone finds out!

COED: Where is the coolest place you have had sex in a Digital Playground movie? In your private life?
Jesse: For movies, it was Bora Bora. We filmed in open waters, and tour boats would come by and just watch. It was really funny. No one really cared though lol.
As for my personal life, I love having sex anywhere. I would have to say the highway is my favorite.
COED: Hopefully you weren’t driving.
Jesse: No, I was riding. Have to keep the roads safe ;p
COED: Any guilty pleasures?
Jesse: Too many hehe
COED: What is your favorite part about your job?
Jesse: My favorite part of my job is traveling, but that is also the part of my job that gets to me sometimes. I love meeting new people, seeing new places, and having sex everywhere, but when you fly around a lot, you get jetlagged. It sucks because one day I will be fully rested, and then we will switch time zones, and I lose 6 hours, and it throws off my whole schedule.
There you have it! Jesse Jane is a woman of many angles. Working the Tequila business, the camera, album covers, and TV shows. You can follow her on Twitter (@jessejane) and you can check her out on the Digital Playground Website! If the questions weren’t hot enough for you, here’s some steamy pics that will get your blood pumping!
Next week, we will be interviewing the fabulous Selena Rose! Tweet me your questions via Twitter! (@AdamBrezak)

COED Gets Down With Bibi Jones [43 PHOTOS, INTERVIEW]
February 29, 2012 by Adam Brezak - SIU
A couple weeks ago, we interviewed Brooklyn Lee (@Brooklynleexxx). This week it’s all about Bibi Jones, the 20-year-old who’s all over the place. She can be found hanging with Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski, jet-setting to perform at dance clubs, and (most importantly) on our guilty pleasures list. Bibi is a Twitter fanatic, and you should all follow her (@BibiJonesxxx). I got a chance to exchange some words with her, so check it out! I’m sure you all know that Bibi never disappoints!

COED: What made you choose the name Bibi Jones? What’s the story behind it?
Bibi: There was a girl named BiBi in a James Bond movie, “For Your Eyes Only” and people say we resemble each other so that’s why I chose BiBi.
COED: You live in Arizona, but Digital Playground is based in California. How does that work out with your schedule? Are you home a lot?
Bibi: I love Arizona… The warm weather, nice people, and hardly any traffic. I’m just not a Cali girl. It works out pretty well with my schedule. I’m usually home half the month. Only about 3-4 days in Cali and then somewhere else feature dancing.
COED: You are currently the youngest star to ever sign with Digital Playground. What made you want to work in the industry? Why so young?
Bibi: I love porn! It was kind of something on my bucket list but then I decided that I really liked being in the business and now I’m making a career out of it.

COED: At the AVN Awards this year you were nominated for Twitter Queen. What did it feel like being nominated? Why did you choose Twitter as a medium for your thoughts instead of Facebook or other social media sites?
Bibi: Twitter is the easiest. I use to have a Facebook but it was hacked & then deleted so I gave up on that. I love Twitter… It’s a great way to keep my fans up to date!
COED: It’s a known fact you are a huge sports fan. What sport is your favorite? Why?
Bibi: Baseball. I feel like it’s a more personal sport… I just have more fun watching baseball then any other sport & I always have.
COED: Recently, you were hanging out with Rob Gronkowski. How did that come about? Via Twitter you are pictured wearing his Jersey while he was shirtless. Did anything happen?
Bibi: Nothing happened… Just friends now. We met through mutual friends in Arizona.
COED: Tell me about your favorite Digital Playground project so far and why does it stand out?
Bibi: My favorite movie I’ve done is The Crib because it’s my first cream pie scene.

COED: You’re a national sensation and yet you’re only 20. How does it feel to be so popular at such a young age? Did the sudden spotlight exposure change any of your habits?
Bibi: My life hasn’t really changed that much… I’m still the same old me. Of course, I love the attention and the privileges it brings.
Attention and privileges are a great perk of the job! Bibi Jones doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. So catch her on Twitter, (@BibiJonesxxx), and explore what she’s got to offer. It’s amazing and possibly NSFW (in a good way). To get your imagination going, we’ve chosen some of her safer photos to view below! Next week, I will be interviewing Jesse Jane! Tweet me your questions, @Adambrezak, and I’ll make sure to get them answered!
AVN’s Best New Starlet Brooklyn Lee Is Voracious [38 PHOTOS]
February 12, 2012 by Adam Brezak - SIU

See Brooklyn Lee’s twitpic with Bill Clinton here!
Brooklyn Lee is a fantastic girl and being that she just won Best New Starlet at the 2012 AVN Awards, we here at COED figured you guys would want to know a little more about her. I got in contact with her, and for a whole day, Brooklyn and I texted back and forth. It was nothing short of magical; people tweeted their questions and I thought up a bunch more. She was also kind enough to send us some photos (no, not those kind) so make sure to check out both below.
COED: How did you initially get into the adult film industry?
Brooklyn: I answered an ad for babysitting and when I got there, the guy whipped out his d*ck and a camera. I really needed the job, so…
COED: Well, it seems to have worked out well for you. Is your real name Brooklyn?
Brooklyn: Lol obviously not. Who names their kid Brooklyn?
COED: I have a friend named Brooklyn… What’s your real name?
Brooklyn: Hahaha of course I’m not gonna tell you that, silly.

COED: Hey it’s my job to ask.
Brooklyn: No one’s ever asked me my real name before. Kinda defeats the purpose of a stage name ;)
COED: What did you want to be when you were younger?
Brooklyn: A ballerina or a veterinarian.
COED: You won Best New Starlet at the AVN awards this year, but you got to stand on the red carpet and interview a ton of coworkers. How was that?
Brooklyn: It was awesome. I was so thrilled to win that award. You only have one shot. Still can’t believe I got it. I’m so thankful. Covering the red carpet for hot video was fun, but by that point my feet were killing me. I was a bit delirious after my hectic week. The footage is pretty amusing.
COED: I bet! Did you get a cool trophy?
Brooklyn: Not yet! I’ll be receiving five of them, sometime this year. I have absolutely no clue where I’ll put them. My apartment is so small!

COED: Who are your favorite people to work with?
Brooklyn: I actually just finished working! For boys, I love Manuel Ferrara. Andy San Dimas is my favorite girl of the moment.
COED: What makes Andy your favorite, “At the moment”?
Brooklyn: She f*cks like a dude… In a very, very good way. She’s not afraid of the pussy and really knows how to work it. I love her aggressiveness and intensity. And she’s wicked hot!
COED: Most of you are! What’s the coolest thing that’s ever happened to you because of porn?
Brooklyn: I recently took a trip to Europe with legendary John Stagliano, of Evil Angel fame. We shot a vampire movie entitled “Voracious”, with some of the top performers in the industry. Including Rocco Sifreddi, Manuel Ferrara, Sandra Romain, and Lea Lexis. It was a true labor of love. We put everything we had into this project, physically and emotionally. I can’t wait for the first installment to be released on Valentine’s Day at voracious.evilangel.com.
COED: That sounds awesome. We’ll have to check that out. I can already bet it’s better than Twilight. BTW, Team Jake or Edward.
Brooklyn: Thanks! Give it a look when it comes out! Umm… How about team Lestat?
COED: Great answer. Old school vampires are cool. But Twilight kinda killed it. So, what do you do for fun?
Brooklyn: Sleep. Eat Marshmallows. Sew Buttons on sweaters.
COED: What’s your motivation to keep going in the adult industry?
Brooklyn: I don’t do anything unless I’m going to give it my all. I absolutely love this industry and the variety of opportunities it affords. I get to travel the world, and have sex with beautiful people! Why stop now when I’m having so much fun?
COED: You gotta do what makes you happy. That’s number one! What is the one thing you will not do on film?
Brooklyn: Anal creampies. Just a little too risky and unnecessary for my tastes.
COED: Is there anything about the industry you don’t like?
Brooklyn: I hate answering the question of how I got into it. EVERYONE asks! The answer is readily available on my Wikipedia page. At this point I’m so fed up. I just make sh*t up ;)
COED: So I assume that answer earlier was fake.
Brooklyn: Yup.
COED: Is it hard for you to get sexually aroused normally because of your job?
Brooklyn: Not at all. My libido rivals that of any freshman guy. I’d f*ck 3 times a day, if I could.
COED: Us too! Anyways, thanks for sharing some insight with us!
Brooklyn: It was cool chatting with you! I’ll send some pics over tomorrow ;)

If we got half as much action as Brooklyn, we could be in the Adult Film Industry too! Once again, a huge thank you to Brooklyn Lee! Follow her on Twitter at @brooklynleexxx. She’s amazing. Watch her movies and spice up your sex life [just stay away from the creampies].
Check back Bi-Weekly for another interview! Follow me on Twitter at @AdamBrezak, and tweet me your questions. I will ask as many as I can! Oh yeah, and just in case the interview wasn’t enough…. Here is a gallery for your viewing pleasure.
What Your Hat Says About You
January 22, 2012 by Adam Brezak - SIU

A hat is a very serious style choice to make as a guy. It sets a certain tone about you because people see the hat before anything. In one way it’s almost like a first impression. Before somebody talks to you, they have already decided what kind of person you are just by what is on your head. Which one should you choose? Yes, this might be a stressful decision and we here at COED understand that. This is a guide to choosing the hat that fits your personality best. Don’t assume you can pull off the Colin Farrell beanie, JT fedora, or Johnny Depp panama jack. Review your options in our slideshow.

An Inside Look At Playboy’s New Year’s Eve Party in Chicago [PHOTOS]
January 3, 2012 by Adam Brezak - SIU

[EDITOR'S NOTE: Last year (3 days ago), we told you about the Playboy New Year's Eve party that one of our writers Adam (and Playboy Campus Representative at Southern Illinois University) was invited to in Chicago. This is his story about celebrating the biggest night of the year with Summer Altice, and Baby Bash.]
The day of Dec. 31st, 2011 started off pretty lazily. Woke up at 2:30, in the city by 4. Tyler Cole, who is the Playboy Campus Rep for Auburn University, joined me for this crazy night. By the time I woke up the next morning, I had to backtrack and figure out exactly what happened.

4:30pm – Chik-fil-A Bowl: Auburn vs. Virginia at Messner’s Wrigleyville
Sitting at Messner’s with Tyler and our friend Dan, we’re casually waiting for the bowl game to start. When it came time to flip the channel, however, the manager told us we had to leave because they would be closing to prepare for New Year’s Eve. Messner’s was an Auburn bar, so that obviously wasn’t happening. Once we told the manager that we were just there for the game and had only planned on pregaming at his establishment for the Playboy Party, we were taken out the back… And then through another door, up some stairs, and then through another door into a completely private upstairs bar. It was filled with wild old Auburn Fans and Alumni. This was the way that a New Years Eve pre-game should be spent.

8:00pm – Red Line Train from Wrigleyville to The Hilton
After leaving Messner’s (a block away from Wrigley Field) we hopped on the Red Line. The “L” will always hold a special place in my heart – nowhere else on the planet will you see such a variety of people, especially on New Year’s Eve. When we stepped off the L there was already an aura in the air that something great was coming. We turned the corner only to see lines and lines of beautifully dressed people rocking the sidewalks of Michigan Ave.

9:00pm – The Party
Coats: Checked.
Over 21 VIP Wristbands: Got ‘em!
Escalator up to the party: Most exciting 15 seconds ever.
After negotiating the line of about 3,000 people and getting into the hotel pretty easily, Tyler and I were on the escalator upstairs to the ballrooms. I could already hear music and see the glow of blue and red lights. Crowds talked, moved and did everything they could to try and get a drink from one of the many mini-bars scattered about. Tyler and I decided to check out VIP before we doing anything else. I was handed $500 dollars in fake money by the fabulous Ashley Mattingly and Amanda Cerny and was told that all the gambling would be benefitting charity. I grabbed a Jack and Coke and headed right to the Roulette table.

40,000 dollars in chips later, we found out that for every 1,000 worth of chips got us one raffle ticket. As the proud owner of 40 tickets, I figured that I had earned the right to grab some gourmet food (something that no swanky party should be without). The theme was Mandarin and the selection was great: pot stickers, Crab Rangoon, grilled chicken and Beef. I wasn’t at the party to eat though, so I took what I could quickly.
The night flowed just like any other party I had ever been to. I felt comfortable, the music complimented the scene, and everyone was in a wonderfully good mood. Summer Altice was about to go onstage, so I knew it was time to throw on some dancing shoes and cut a rug. HA! I’m not the best dancer, but I did enjoy her set. Actually, after she was done, Summer graciously let me grab a few words as she was running upstairs for other engagements.

Summer Altice
COED: Summer! The set was amazing! How’s the rest of your night going?
Summer: It’s great! Always fun to be with friends and the Playboy family to bring in the New Year.
COED: Black for your bunny costume color tonight, your choice?
Summer: Black is classy, of course I picked the color!
COED: What are you looking forward to in 2012?
Summer: More amazing opportunities, meeting new people, and having a blast! Hey, this is my elevator, I have to run!
Just as quickly as she got offstage and started walking, she was in an elevator going to get changed. And just as quickly as our interview went by, so did my drink! I grabbed another Jack and Coke, and headed to the main floor to enjoy the countdown with about almost 4,000 more people! The New Year was about to start.
FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Confetti poured from the sky, people cheered, clicked drinks, kissed loved ones! Everything was everything. As Baby Bash took the stage, the crowd welcomed him with even more cheering, and as his hit single “Suga Suga” came on, the crowd just went into ultimate party mode for the next two hours.
We decided at this point that we should get the backdrop photo. Anytime you go somewhere, and they have a backdrop area for photos, you are almost required to grab one! We waited in line, and when it was our turn, I high-fived Alison Waite. “Gotta love working on New Years!” She smiled and said we must have great jobs.
We do. We really do.
Thanks to my boss at Playboy, Steve Mazeika, for hooking me up with the tickets! For everyone else, Follow me on Facebook and Twitter, @AdamBrezak. I go to a lot of events, shows, and functions, and live tweet them all! Where should I go next in 2012? You decide!
Playboy’s New Year’s Eve Party In Chicago Preview
December 31, 2011 by Adam Brezak - SIU

Being the Playboy Campus Rep for Southern Illinois University has its benefits. Like when I found out Playboy was throwing a huge New Year’s Eve bash in my hometown of Chicago, I emailed my boss, and a week later, received two tickets. I invited Tyler, the University of Auburn Playboy Campus Representative, to partake in what’s sure to be a lights out bash. Speaking of bash, the event features appearances by Baby Bash, Eva Simons, and playmate / DJ Summer Altice, who I’m planning to interview. Follor me on Twitter @AdamBrezak as I’ll be live tweeting the event with unreal twitpics.

The 8 Types of Girls You “Knew” In High School
September 20, 2011 by Adam Brezak - SIU

As we get older, men realize that women are always changing (their minds, their outfits, their stance on BJs, etc). Before this happens though, we think the biddies are the most confusing puzzles in the world. I’ve always thought that if I was a kid and knew half of what I know now, I would have made a serious killing with the ladies. Same thing goes for this: if I’d had this categorization of girls when I was a kid, I would have fathered at least five accidental children by now. Check out our list of stereotypical high school girls below.

Robot Chicken Co-Creator Matt Senreich Talks Star Wars Episode III [INTERVIEW]
July 19, 2011 by Adam Brezak - SIU

The new Robot Chicken Star Wars Episode III special came out on DVD and Blu-ray July 12th. It’s the first-ever Blu-ray release for the Robot Chicken franchise, which means you can actually see the puppet strings along with the fingerprints of the handler’s on the figures’ naughty parts. COED had the opportunity to interview co-creator Matt Senreich (the non-ginger) about working with Billy Dee Williams and George Lucas and what’s next for the award-winning stop-motion series. Check out the full Q&A below.

COED: Where did the idea for the show originally stem from?
Matt It actually started with Seth. I was working at Wizard magazine, and got to interview him. That’s how we started bouncing ideas around. Seth went on Conan and had a toy, and from there had the idea to make stop-motion sketches. He asked if I wanted to be a part of it, and we haven’t stopped since.

COED: The first two Robot Chicken Star Wars specials have been immensely successful, what sparked the idea for the 3rd?
Matt I had the idea of following Emperor Palpatine since the first special. This special follows a behind the scenes look at what Palpatine experienced throughout the 6 Star Wars episodes. We all wanted to incorporate the bad guys, and that’s how we got the weaving story lines about Gary the Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett.
COED: The Star Wars specials have given you the opportunity to work with numerous cast members from the original Star Wars movies. What was that like?
Matt: It’s still beyond surreal. I still get giddy every time Billy Dee Williams comes in. It’s amazing. Anthony Daniels is absolutely hysterical. They all have a great sense of humor and are willing to make fun of their characters as well as themselves. It’s really been a great opportunity.
COED You got to sit down with George Lucas and hang out for a while. What was that like?
Matt: There is a whole section in the special features dedicated to our board room chat with George Lucas. He is a funny guy, and I loved hanging out and chatting with him. His sense of humor is wicked. It really makes the DVD.

COED: What’s your favorite sketch in the movie?
Matt: Probably the scene with the Wampa from Hoth at the gas station. We didn’t know how it was going to be received, because it’s slow-moving. But the more we dragged it out, the better it got, until finally it is this super long, super funny sketch.

Annies, Emmys - what's the difference?
COED: Robot Chicken won Emmys for “Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program” in 2010. Did you ever expect that?
Matt: There is a reason everyone says I would like to thank the Academy. It’s because you don’t show up expecting to win anything, and then when it happens, it’s so surreal. I’m still in shock and awe. My jaw still drags behind me.
COED: At what point did you personally feel you were successful?
Matt: I still always wonder if we are successful. But, what did it for me was when we started getting hate mail. I figured if people feel so strongly to write a hate letter, then we must be at a good place.

COED: We saw Seth Green on Jimmy Fallon the other night. Any TV appearances lined up for you?
Matt: Not at all. Seth loves being on TV, I’m much happier behind a desk.
COED: What’s in store for Robot Chicken?
Matt: We are about to start the second half of our fifth season. 10 more episodes for everyone to watch! Our 100th episode airs in January and we are very excited about that.
