Citi Field in Flushing Stadium Scorecard

We started our 30 days adventure at Yankee Stadium and decided to end the trip with a bang at Citi Field.

Before the game we set up shop in Lot 3 and had a tailgate with family, friends and followers. As you’ll see from the photos we had a great turnout.

Citi Field is one of the best stadiums to see a game in all of Major League Baseball. The ballpark is airy and op… Click to read more

Nationals Park in DC Stadium Scorecard

Like Citizen’s Bank park the day before it is extremely easy to access National’s Park from anywhere in DC via public transportation. Why pay $15 and worry about traffic when you could let someone else do all the work. National’s Park feels like an over-sized minor league stadium, a truly great place to watch a ballgame.

Sun Life Stadium in Miami Stadium Scorecard

Like Oakland, the parking situation at Florida is basic. The stadium is surrounded by lot parking and doesn’t offer any street parking options. You need to suck it up and fork over $10-20 bucks.

As we heard from most people leading up to our visit, the football stadium is not a very baseball friendly park. This makes the new stadium set to open in 2012 all t… Click to read more

Rogers Centre in Toronto Stadium Scorecard

Like Petco Park in San Diego, Rogers Centre is located int he heart of downtown but unlike Petco the street parking is dismal non-existant. Instead of wasting your time trying to save a buck be ready to shell out $15 for lot parking, there is no way around it.

During our radio interview on Rogers Sportsnet Fan 590 the audience suggested that we hit Real Sports bar… Click to read more

Petco Park in San Diego Stadium Scorecard

Being that Petco Park is located in downtown San Diego you will not have a problem finding street parking. Just make sure you read the meters and find a spot that doesn’t have a time limit.

We asked our Twitter following what bars to check out before the game and all signs pointed to Tilted Kilt located only steps from the stadium. Here we were treated to fai… Click to read more

Angel Stadium of Anaheim Stadium Scorecard

Parking at Angels stadium is standard. Very little street parking with team owned lots in all directions surrounding the stadium. We settled for the $5 lot on the outskirts which paid off once the game was over.

Once inside the gates we were given a taste of the stadium tour from Steve who works for Aramark. Since the 2010 All-Star game was in Anaheim we were trea… Click to read more

Los Angeles Dodgers Stadium Scorecard

Parking situation at Dodgers stadium was somewhat confusing. There were multiple levels and entrance gates so it is easy for someone to get lost. As a tip make sure you enter from the main gate and make a note of your parking location.

If you buy the cheap seats you will be confined to the upper upper deck. The Dodgers don’t allow access to the lower levels w… Click to read more

Chase Field in Phoenix Stadium Scorecard

We’re not proud of this by any means, but we parked in a church parking lot charging $8.00 and we didnt have cash and offered to pay at the end of the game. The wonderful lady collecting money told us not to worry about it to just pay her next game and so we said ok. Let that be our confession.

The bars outside of the stadium were dead but had potential. Basketbal… Click to read more

Turner Field in Atlanta Stadium Scorecard

Parking around Turner is like playing Russian roulette, we were told. You can park on the street in front of the no parking signs and 15% of the time you’ll get that pesky ticket. We’d like to consider ourselves run and gun cowboys, but these cowboys are on a budget. We went for the $10.00 parking. The bar scene was non existent outside the parking lo… Click to read more

Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg Stadium Scorecard

Tropicana Field has a fair amount of free street parking available within a five minute walk of the stadium. Drive around on the side streets for a few minutes and you should be able to find something.

The stadium itself was not as bad as everyone made it out to be. The air conditioning was a nice break from steamy Tampa, every seat was relatively good and the unbas… Click to read more

Safeco Field in Seattle Stadium Scorecard

With so much praise to spew about Seattle’s Safeco field it is tough to figure out where to start. Public transportation on the light rail to and from Safeco is an absolutle breeze and at $1.50 each way you would be an idiot not to use it. If you have to drive there are plenty of street parking options around the stadium as well.

Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland Stadium Scorecard

The parking situation is pretty basic at Oakland. There is no chance you’ll be able to (or want to) street park so go with a lot. It’s fairly priced and much cheaper than having your car stolen.

The stadium itself is run down and is not designed for baseball enjoyment. The field of play is too far from the seats. But one benifit of having a team that is a… Click to read more

AT&T Park in San Francisco Stadium Review

Since the start of our 30 Stadiums in 30 Days adventure one of the most anticipated ballparks was AT&T Park in San Francisco. We arrived a few hours before game time and cheap parking near the stadium was tough to come by. We ended to settling for a $20 lot about 6 blocks from the stadium.

Adventure to Derek Jeter’s Tampa Super Mansion (PICS)

After an exciting game at our 21st stadium in Tampa John and I had decided to go on a little adventure. Early this year we heard that Derek Jeter was building a seven bedroom, nine bathroom waterfront mansion on Davis Island in Tampa. At 30,000 square feet the house is as big as a Best Buy and the property alone costs $7 million. We had to see the house for ourselves s… Click to read more
