Once the Jeremy Lin story took off, it was only a matter of time before the suits commercialized it, ruining the spontaneity of the whole thing. Nothing drains the coolness out of a moment faster than attaching a song to it that everyone can sing along to. For Jeremy Lin, this came in the form of “Everyday I’m Shuffle-Lin,” complete with cheesy t-shirts and all. It took all of two days for me to get sick of this, which got me thinking: what are the most annoying song traditions in sports? Unfortunately, I didn’t have to leave the northeast to find my top five.
