3rd Trashiest Spring Break Destination in America: South Padre Island, TX

How can it get any trashier than South Padre, a beach that essentially exists for the sole purpose of having wild parties? This year, expect to see the beach host musicians like Skrillex, Tiesto, and Avicii along with whoever else Coca-Cola wants to bring along for their daily 11 AM – 6 PM slosh-fest. If you don’t feel like joining in on the readily-available parties, feel free to start your own because alcohol (including kegs) are legal on the beach. Around 50,000 students come to South Padre, Texas during March alone. The festivities really get going with the beginning of Texas Week, the time when most (if not all) Texas colleges have Spring Break.
