These pictures are just flat-out weird. I’ve never been crazy about the whole concept of taxidermy and frankly I can’t imagine going through a dead animal’s body is even remotely enjoyable. Remember that smell in biology class when you had to dissect the dead rat or whatever? Worst smell ever. Now imagine dealing with that on a daily basis and you’ve pretty much summed up the life of a taxidermist. I guess if it’s your job, you might as well have fun with it – that might explain some of the wacky creatures in the gallery below. Either that, or the smell of formaldehyde has really gotten to them. Chuck Testa, I didn’t know you like to get wet.
