13 Bootleg Movie Posters [PHOTOS]

Ever buy a bootleg DVD? There’s weird cover art, typos, and unusual packaging. Was the guy lazy? No, he’s just not from around here. As the “City of Sushi” episode of South Park pointed out, cultural differences can be hilarious, especially when international destinations try to market and sell tickets for American made films. Case in point? These movie posters we found that were created to promote traveling movie shows and bootleg screenings in foreign countries. Check ‘em out after the jump!

Corporal Dipprasad Pun Killed 30 Taliban By Himself

Corporal Dipprasad Pun, 31, is the real life Rambo. This Nepalese soldier in the British army was surrounded on all sides and staring death straight in the face. Instead of surrendering he fought back firing more than 400 rounds, launching 17 grenades and detonating a mine to repel the Taliban assault on his checkpoint near Babaji in Afghanistan. It’s On Like Donkey Kong For The Anniversary of DK’s US Debut [46 PHOTOS]

On June 2nd, 1981, “Donkey Kong” made its debut in the U.S. The damsel-in-distress title is the reason we have the Super Mario Brothers. Today, Donkey Kong is considered the fifth most popular arcade game among collectors. Of course, most film fans remember the 2007 documentary “The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters” in which Steve Wiebe tries to beat Billy Mitchell’s world high score in Donkey Kong. And, everyone’s used the phrase “It’s on like Donkey Kong” at one point in their lives (apparently Nintendo’s trying to trademark it). COED Catches A Wave With Pro Surfer Model Erica Hosseini [13 PHOTOS]

Erica’s a 24 year old surfer and model from Newport Beach, California. She got her first surfboard at age 11 then at 14, she broke a world record by becoming the youngest surfer to make the ASP finals. Her career has only taken off since then. She also holds her own in front of the camera having posed for Maxim, Men’s Journal, Transworld, 944, and the LA Times. Bleacher Report even ranked her among their top 20 hottest surfers in the world. Not bad. We managed to score an interview with Erica last week to see what she’s up to.
