COED’s Blogger Beer Pong 1.0 [PICS]

October 15, 2010     Posted in Drink, Lifestyle, Offbeat, Pics

At COED we have a knack for taking things that are traditional and tossing them out the window. On Wednesday we held our first ever Blogger Beer Pong tournament at Wicked Willy’s in the West Village for our favorite bloggers, editors and people in the industry. 16 teams filled out the bracket and one went home with exclusive bragging rights as the first ever “Blogger Beer Pong” champion and this circus sized trophy. The night was a total shitshow and we have a great time meeting everyone who helps make COED happen.

And it begins, at the start my money was on a Team COED vs BroBible quarterfinal. COED vs Asylum/Guyism vs BarstoolSports semi-final. With COED vs Barstool in the finals. Neal and I come from baseball backgrounds so I truly believed in my heart that COED was bringing back that big ass trophy back to the office. It didn’t pan out as I have planned.

Dude, WTF is this?! We got fu*king destroyed by “Team Infographic World” in the first round. They shot first and got throwbacks twice in a row so before we even took our first shot we were down 6-cups to 10. I’m not saying in the Jesus Christ of beer pong but I can hold my own. What is Infographic World anyway? I’m willing to bet these guys are ringers who started a fake company to travel the country demolishing competition in blogger beer pong tourneys.

Team BroBible felt the wrath of Infographic World in the second round.

Finals match-up, Team Barstool vs Team Infographics World. KFC made it all the way to the finals playing with his opposite arm…I’ve got a feeling he’s a natural left and was bullshitting us the entire night.

And there I am giving away my precious trophy to Team Infographic World. We posted over 100 pictures to our Facebook group so check them out and if you were there Tag yourself.
