A Brief History of Sex Dolls (Infographic)

August 18, 2010     Posted in Offbeat, WTF

Unless you’re monk with internet access, you’re aware of Roxxxy, the world’s first sex robot, built by TrueCompanion. The graphic seems unnecessary, seeing as it's just a bunch of short paragraphs. Also, how can a doll from the 15th century be a descendant of something modern? I believe the word for that would be 'ancestor' wouldnt it?

Hopeless – the invention of the blow up sex doll and all its spin offs up to and including real doll is completlet missed.

Half asses job at a history

The realdoll deserves a mention here… these things are scary realistic.

Probably the best design for an infographic ever. It's easy to read through, & visually pleasing. I give it a 5 out of 5 ;)

'Fembot was first coined in "The Bionic Woman" and not by Mike Myers. Even the wikipedia page for gynoid refers to this reference.
