Vevo “The Hulu For Music Videos” Launches Tonight!
December 8, 2009 Posted in Entertainment, Music, Tech

You’ve heard the rumors and yes they are true. Google and Sony Music are a go tonight for the launch of their brand-spanking new music video service Vevo. We got the opportunity to speak with a Vevo Beta-tester this week and he gave the new service rave reviews. It’s essentially a “Hulu for music videos.” Our source said the videos are of the highest quality, are fully embeddable and we should expect a “ton” of new features to be released throughout the coming year. Vevo will celebrate tonight’s launch with a party to end all parties at New York City’s Skylight Ballroom that will feature an all-star guestlist including Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Jamie Foxx, Rihanna, John Mayer, 50 Cent, Adam lambert, Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, John Legend, Justin Bieber and Erykah Badu.
