The Secret Code to The New YouTube

So I headed over to Reddit.com after getting home from the office, and what do I find? The “secret” to accessing the newest YouTube feature: ‘Warp Player‘ on all videos! And let me just say that if you haven’t already seen this amazing feature, then prepare to be awash in awesomeness.

All you have to do is replace “watch” in any YouTube URL with “warp.swf,” and you’ll be cast off on a journey of visual browsing so sweet, you won’t stop until someone unplugs your computer. Here’s an example:

Change this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMNry4PE93Y

To This:

http://www.youtube.com/warp.swf?v=CMNry4PE93Y

And that’s it.

This probably won’t take over the regular YouTube functionality, but it’s definitely a more interesting way to browse the Site. And it allows you to explore the “related videos” section with far greater ease.
