It’s a sad day in music land: Les Paul, inventor of both the electric guitar and multi-track recording, has died at 94. We are all mourning the loss of this music-changing innovator, who was as responsible for rock ‘n roll as Elvis (not to mention pretty much all other music you listen to these days). So since we kind of suck at playing the guitar, we decided to honor this guitar legend in the way we know best: with pictures of super hot chicks holding Gibson Les Paul guitars! R.I.P, Les. Now, go play Jesus a face-melter.

i’m all for hot girls and all, but i clicked this because i was curious of this was going to be a matter of actual musicians or just hot chicks holding guitars. the ratio bummed me out.

Actually, the SG was first introduced as a new version of the Les Paul. The the truss rod plate on the original SG read Les Paul.
An SG is A LES PAUL. There are a couple of LP Jrs and yes there is one pic that is an epiphone hollow body – although the photo has been cropped so you’d never know the difference. Maybe one or two of the pics are LP replicas, but seriously, i defy you to find as many girls holding les paul guitars in one post anywhere.
