And by the way drew. Ur a fuckin idiot if u think Mir would have taken Brock out standing up. Yea he has more experience n tech. Then Brock but brock knows putting his opp on the ground n beating them in the mat is the way for him to win. Next time maybe Mir won’t ball up against the fence. Mir can take him out yea but standing up toe to toe. Brock will destroy him. U fucked urself when u said Brock over powered him then said Mir would beat him standing up. Power fighter win standing up or on top of there opp on the mat. Mir needs to stick to his submissions.

For anyone who is cryin like a little CHILD cause Mir lost. SHUT UP. Ok we all knew going into the fight that Brock is a huge train of anger. Yea Mir caught him in their first fight but if Brock could do that fight again. He wouldn’t try to yank his leg away, he would fall down n beat mirs face in. I like frank n I like brock but it’s fighting. If u don’t like the shit they say then don’t watch it. If someone beat u n talked shit as bad as Mir did to u. You would do the same thing. Revenge is the ultimate advantage and EVERYONE knew going into the fight that brock wasn’t gonna lose. I’m surprised it lasted as long. Yea he should have thought before he spoke about budlight cause of course that’s one of ufcs biggest sponcers but ufc is a sport of fighting n beating ur opp. Brock just so happen to destroy his and was over-welmed. Don’t want if u don’t like excitement and harsh word. Mir needs to train n flip the tables on Brock cause Mir is just as good if not better. Just not as big. I love watching them both but everyone on here complaining about bricks words need to watch Barney or tellitubbies next time a fight comes on. Peace.

Many people here are missing the point. Most fighters talk a little bit of trash before a fight, but when it comes down to the moment they touch gloves and fight. Afterwards they respect each other as fellow gladiators. They NEVER bring someone’s family into it. Brock Lesnar is a complete arrogant douchebag. Plain and simple. He is hideous for the sport. That’s the most important thing to remember. It is a SPORT. A CONTEST. Not WWF.

All you jackasses defending Brock, should shut the hell up. There was no excuse for his behavior OR attitude. Even Mir, when being interviewed didn’t talk shit but agreed that Brock got him good. Who the hell in the UFC doesn’t talk trash? It amps up the crowd and helps to build tension for the fight. At the end, it’s all good and these guys shake hands and hug at the end of the fight. To tell you honestly, the people booed that jackass not because he won, but because HOW he won. Brock has no technique whatsoever, he literally overpowered Mir. If they would have stayed on their feet, Mir would’ve knocked that bitch out. Immediately after Mir caught him with that flying knee, Brock got scared and took him to the ground. He did the same shit with the first fight.

No professional sporting organizations allows unsportsmanlike conduct. The New Jersey State Commission MMA rules (which the UFC plays by) specifically disallow trash talking during the fight. The point is that anyone performing at the professional level should act professionally. In the UFC in particular, everyone competing has paid their proverbial dues in other competitions, they have dedicated their lives and their bodies to training, and they deserve respect for their skills. Especially someone like Frank Mir, who has been training for such a large portion of his life, and has been with the UFC for years.

Yes, Frank Mir “talked shit.” It’s standard fare for all fights. But it’s always forgiven in the end. They might not hang out together, or even particularly get along, but everyone else in the UFC seems to understand that their opponents are tough, talented men who are every bit as brave as they are.

Even if Brock Lesnar had simply jumped around and celebrated, it would have been tolerable. But to get into the face of a guy like Frank Mir, two-time belt holder, one of the most talented heavyweights in the game, after a turning out a one dimensional performance, (that even sounds generous) relying -entirely- on weight and strength, was a really disgusting thing to see. My nose is squinched like i smell shit even as I think about it.

Brock Lesnar could be a really exciting fighter. But he’s going to have to have a serious turnaround in behavior to get any kind of support from me.
