Brock Lesnar Acted Like a Classless Punk

Brock beat up Frank Mir something pretty bad.
He THEN proceeded to: threaten ring security, flip off the crowd, curse and scream at his defeated opponent, and yell “F@$k you in the ass” to Frank Mir’s family. Even in the interview, as he received loud boos for being EVERYTHING that the MMA sport has worked to prevent, we kept saying that he loved the boos.
Hey Brock, you are not in the WWE anymore. You are not fighting Papa Shongo. You, in one night, set the MMA world back 10 years. Brock is everything that no one wanted to see in MMA, a big burly white trash over-steroided douchebag who has no respect for the discipline and sport of martial arts.
Go home Brock. Bang your 50 year old-looking wanna-be stripper wife, and go back to WWE. You are going to ruin a sport that has worked too hard to get where it is. Even Kimbo had better ring generalship and respect for the sport.
Please go ride your Harley without a helmet. I never thought I would say this, but hopefully Kimbo gets through TUF and brings some class back to the heavy weights.

By now, everyone has had time to cool off, yours truly included. It is important to note several things. Brock has apologized, though half-hearted and a little more of a business apology than a personal one. We also received a phone call claiming potential defamation from Brock Lesnar’s people. Charming.
The facts are plain and simple. Before every fight, the participants are asked inflammatory interview questions. It is designed to inspire the casual MMA fan to fork over $44 USD for the PPV broadcast. No fight, could have POSSIBLY had badder blood than more smack than the last Tito Ortiz/Ken Shamrock fight. Hands down, no arguments. At the end of that fight, after some mild showmanship from Tito – nothing campared to Brock’s hissy fit, Tito and Ken hugged and spoke well of each other. Whatever drama the Lesnar camp is referring to, when they speak of Frank Mir’s comments, can only shadow in comparison in the aforementioned press sh*t-show. Frank Mir made comments and Brock Lesnar made comments. Brock won by face-smashing. The other facts are that Brock would note touch gloves at the beginning of the fight – ok I guess. At the end of the fight, Brock: flipped off the crowd, violated sponsorship agreements, got in Mir’s bloody face and yelled at his family. These are facts.
To flip off a crowd that paid money to see you fight and to get in your downed opponent’s face – is unsportsmanlike and classless.
To act like a spoiled child (though a 300lb child) and stomp around the ring because you “aren’t getting the respect you deserve” – makes you a punk.
Respect is earned. Yes Brock Lesnar, you hold the title. You have also fought under 10 fights. At 10 fights, you can make the respect argument. In the meantime, wave to the crowd, please the sponsors, shake hands and kiss Dana White’s ass for handing you the UFC Heavyweight title. You have defended well so far, but wait for 10 fights and respect will come.
Oh yeah, threats for calling you a classless punk when it is justified…not a good start.

Fedor vs Lesnar?
Dana says Fedor vs. Lesnar after Fedor's contract expires. But i dont see it. Fedor would be stupid to take it.
He's too old to take on Lesnar. He could beat Sapp years ago – but not Lesnar now.
Lesnar is a 300 pound classless object. He doesn't fight MMA, he gets in the way. After 10 years of steroids no wonder the behemoth can throw a punch. If you win the Superbowl you don't shit on the 50 yard line. Lesnar may have won, but we all know it's a shallow ass victory, and he's not a man at all for how he towards all of the UFC fans. He's a punkass.

I don't really care much about the other stuff he did, but yelling "FCUK you in the A$$" to Mir's family was above and beyond being a douchebag. For those of you defending Lesner for that because he's the Champ, that pretty much makes you all douchebags also. This was between the two of them and nobody else. Yes Frank Mir talked shit and got destroyed for it! I think Lesner got his payback in the best possible way, yelling at Mir's family the way he did afterwards, took away a big part of what he did that night.
There's so much ignorance in this thread, it's beyond comical. First off, dickbags, Lesnar was a two time NCAA wrestling champ and trains with Royce Gracie, so to say all he does is "lay on people" is ignorant to the 'enth degree. Like UCONN coach Jim Calhoun says "Get some facts."
And love him or hate him, Brock has brought legions of fans with him to UFC and he's given the sport more mainstream media coverage than ANYBODY. EVER. More than Coutoure. More than Ortiz. More than Shamrock.

Lesnar-Fedor? That would be Dana's wet dream but only if Lesnar won. Fedor has handed all the U.F.C. chumps their ass on a plate. Maybe fedor is getting older but the longer any match between him and lesnar went, the more likely technique would win out over power. Fedor is the most complete fighter in M.M.A and brock is a roid head with amazing power. Feodr is the master of submissions and more to the point, has a warriors heart, this is questionable in lesnar who i think would tap in a second if caught by fedor. If it ever happens it would be more about Dana trying to control the sport than the match itself and for that reason i would hope fedor would win to give some balance as dana believes in money, not the sport itself. Hard to picture fedor carrying on like an idiot but thats probably why he is considered the king of M.M.A. and lesnar comes across as a spoiled kid on roids. Fedor would do what he always does, and find a way to win. Brock would need to blitz him to have any chance and if he run out of steam, he would be arm barred, choked out, kimura'd or a host of other submissions. I dont think it would ever happen though. Oh, and before the usual chorus of 17 year old idiots scream that fedor doesnt want to fight brock cos he would lose, heres the facts- Fedor refused the terms that dana offered that effectively gave control of his career to dana-an unwise move to say the least. The times that fedor has fought ufc opponents he has won easily. Thats why dana went from saying fedor was the best in the world to "over rated". Lesnar beat up Mir,okay so what. The amateurish performance Lesnar did afterward was disgusting. Three words: Brock vs. Fedor
The writer of this article clearly doesn't know much about Brock Lesnar… when he left the WWE in impromptu fashion Vince McMahon basically got him blacklisted in all North-American Pro-Wrestling (of course, I'm referring to 'sports entertainment' or whatever you'd like to call the violent theater that is the WWE, TNA, ROH, etc); he couldn't go back to WWE in the next 10 years even if he wanted to! He was able to get a little work doing some wrestling in Japan, but that's it.
As far as Brock's attitude goes, yeah, he can be an angry SOB, but the MMA community's downright loathing of him isn't because of this, it's because he was a 'wrassler', and that you would hate someone holding the title in your competitive sport just because he spent some time in a non-competetive sport is RETARDED; Brock has serious skills and a very solid combat background (NCAA champion, among others).
No, Brock's tirade wasn't acceptable, and as someone who has defended him in the past as having every quality necessary to be in MMA, it's very dissapointing to see him react in such a negative way, but can you blame him? Did the crowd outright boo anyone else that night? No. Why? Because Brock was in the WWE. So was Shamrock, among others… Yeah, it's hokey that Brock was given a title-shot so early (White is just laughing all the way to the bank as far as this is concerned, he doesn't give a fuck about this possibly 'ruining' MMA, which is ridiculous), but he WON, he's YOUR CHAMPION, and that's with legitimate competition. To be such a crybaby about it is even more pathetic than his in-ring behavior.
I went into the fight not caring who won, I still don't care. The fact is that Brock and Dana White are there to sell tickets, and they did that. They will sell many more with his fights because of his comments and the way he manhandled Mir. If you guys think that this wasn't on purpose you're crazy, he was taught to draw attention in WWE, and he brought that into the UFC. How does the WWE manage to sell so many tickets for fake fighting? It's not the "fighting" that sells the tickets, it's the hype that the fighters bring. He has set himself up as the "badboy" and that is what the crowd wants to see whether they are wanting to see him get his ass kicked or see him beat some guy to a pulp. I guarantee the next fight with Brock will sell more tickets than this fight did.
A message for MMA fans. Please realize that everyone who has posted comments condoning Brock is probably just a kid who is having fun playing on his computer. They have their WWE Spinner foam Belt velcroed to their waste and they spend the rest of their non Nap time playing with their WWE Dolls. They worship an environment of Classless loosers who use drugs and roids to get Bigger Stroner and faster. Their Hero has now infiltrated a great sport on its way to the top because he couldn't hack it in the make believe world, the football world and now he can't hack it in the real world. He is not a Mixed Martial Artist by any stretch of the imagination and will lose again. What he did hurt the sport and set it back. Guys like him will die broke and all alone. As far as being a champion he is not and will never be a true champion the Belt is simply leather and metal, it's not real gold and it sure as hell doesn't belong to the best fighter.
