Nate, I guess you've never heard of prohibition. We learned then that the only thing banning alcohol did was create extremely violent criminal organizations that profited and became powerful by providing the people with what they wanted.

It's a good thing our leaders took that lesson to heart...

The thing that bothers me the most is the Hipocracy of it all! The fact that doctors can "prescribe" "legal" pills, and thats ok, even though they end up causing side affects, and making people sicker than they were originally. And millions of people die each year from Alcohol & Cigarette related injuries, but that's ok, because it's "legal". But Marijuana, a substance grown from the earth, that has mostly good effects and so many uses to help the planet in a natural way, is illegal. How is it that in a world of technology, we are so backwards in our thinking?! We are living by rules written 100's of years ago. When slaves were a normal thing. I guess money is the excuse that doctors use to feed their greed, they no longer care about patients, just a paycheck. I say give everyone a joint per day, and see how peaceful everyone becomes. Make Alcohol & Cigarettes illegal. Lets see how that goes, they are the REAL killers! I say we should truly Think Green!

Adrian, whether you believe they have the right or not, the law exists and you can be punished according to it. I agree that it doesn't make sense for it to be illegal but, consider the implications of being caught. You will have to disclose that little piece of information on job applications, life insurance forms, and just about any other situation where your lifestyle is considered. If you plan to live the rest of your life working at Starbucks or the local bar, that will probably work out fine for you.

Whether the Government says that Marijuana is Illegal or not will never change the fact that people will smoke it regardless. We were all born into rules and laws that we didn't agree too. I will never let someone Govern my life, no one has the right to tell you what you can and cannot do, unless of course you are hurting other people, than it is an issue.

Smoke and be jolly!
