Wine! And you should be drinking more of it says Dr. Richard Baxter, a top-rated, board-certified plastic surgeon, anti-aging expert and author of the award-winning new book Age Gets Better with Wine: New Science For a Healthier, Better & Longer Life.
Baxter shares the scientific reasons why moderate wine consumption should be an everyday ritual, “Compounds in red wine work at a cellular level to lessen the negative effects of high-fat meals, and help keep blood sugar levels in check. These are some of the reasons why wine drinkers are less likely to be overweight,” Baxter notes.
So listen to Dr Baxter and you’ll be skinny and drunk, both of which are good.
The studies on if tequila makes you rich and good looking, as well as the research on if pot gives you Harry Potters Magical Abilities are still in progress. Keep your fingers crossed.
Dr Baxter’s book, “Age Gets Better with Wine: New Science for a Healthier, Better & Longer Life” is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Borders. His website is www.baxterplasticsurgery.com
