CDC Says STDs Are Back On The Rise

After the number of reported Sexually Transmitted Diseases took a general downturn in the 90s, some of the most common diseases are back on the rise, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. CDC’s report, “Sexually Transmitted Disease Surveillance 2007,” said that cases of chlamydia and gonorrhea, which together had 1.4 million reported cases in 2007, are two infections which are highest in prevalence.
