Dirty Thursday: Dillinger Escape Plan’s Ben Weinman Releases Doggy-wear Line
December 11, 2008 Posted in Entertainment
If you love rock ‘n’ roll AND you happen to think that dogs ARE man’s best friend, I’ve got some news for you that’s bound to make you and your little pooch sing.
Ben Weinman, founder of The Dillinger Escape Plan, has just launched a company that’s gonna bring a smile to your face…even if you hate dogs. And music.
His new doggy-wear line, probably inspired by his affinity for music paired with his obsession with his pug, is adorable. And don’t worry, I mean that in the most badass way possible. It’s called Garmutt (how appropriate). He’s taken the token logos from legendary bands, like The Rolling Stones, and treated them with a bit of doggy-style love. That’s right. Your own pup could be prancing around in a ‘The Rolling BONES’ tee sooner than later.
Just in time for the holidays, you owe it to yourself to at least scope the site for his little start-up if you know anyone who’d get a kick out of this.
A note to Ben: Nice to see your softer side, now go play some metal.
